i have combination skin, i don't like heavy creams, hence my oil of olay.. i like my skin for feel clean and refreshed!

Lz Earle Cleanse and Polish is my Desert Island product. Creamy and fresh scented you remove it with a muslin cloth. Only thing that stops me having a spotty chin : ) To be honest I love all Liz Earle products, moisturiser is lovely too, light but nourishing. Also her body washes/creams smell divine.

When you order from her website they always send you a trial size of another of their products for free so you get to try out others items from the range. Brilliant idea and has led me to buy full sizes (which I guess is the point...)

I use Origins. I hate the smell of most beauty stuff, but Origins is just gorgeous. I use the ginzing eye cream, and a perfect world moisturizer

Eve Lom to cleanse and then Nuxe you're-not-super-wrinkly-but-you're-getting-there (it's not called that, but I can't remember the proper name) cream, which is very nice. But they're both expensive. BUT, the Eve Lom lasts for aaaaaaaaaaaaages (the £50 pot lasts me a year, so works out about £4 a month. Not bad).

Kiehls avocado eye cream - really lovely
MD Formulations face cream - I think it has 2% glycolic acid, works wonders for my skin
DH just bought me some Clarins day face cream which is really creamy and makes my skin feel fantastic

Eve Lom for cleansing. Pot does last ages as mentioned above.

The Eve Lom eye cream and the TLC cream are both lovely too.

Kiehls Acai serum and moisturiser and Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil are all great (all Kiehls products are great!)

I spend very little on cleansing. I use Waitrose Pure (own brand) eye makeup remover and cleanser. I use Olay Regenerist 3 POINT SERUM (not the cream) and Aldi eye cream. That's it and my skin looks better than it has in quite some time. I put it down the the 3 Point Serum, for sure. It's recently won some award for delivering as good if not better results than the big beauty names with regard to anti-aging and skin firming.

I vouch for it.

Third vote for Liz Earle, I love it! Her latest catalogue arrived today so I know what I'm reading later!

oop, was going to second Liz Earle but realise I'm fourthing it now!

Her stuff actually works. The Cleanse and Polish is brilliant. It's a bit pricey for me at present, money is tight but when richer I will buy everything

Regular exfoliation (I use the boots version of a bufpuf) and jo malones' orange and geranium night cream. Like you I hit the point at which my previously excellent clarins just wasn't enough. Tried LOTS of diff creams, eve lom and liz earle amongst them; the one that's best on my skin is the JM one. Didn't go spotty with it either (did with the eve lom )

coo, our Liz is popular on MN isn't she!

Think we're due a commission for the advertising!!

Dermalogica is my favourite brand. All their stuff really, but particularly their multivitamin power recovery masque. They don't seem to advertise much at all, and are only available at certain places but rely on word of mouth. Have a look at their reviews online.

Soap & Glory have a few miracle products which aren't too ££. Scrub Your Nose In It - a minty facial scrub that doubles as a mask. The Fab Pore - a deep-cleansing clay mask. And Wish Upon A Jar (which I heard about on here), a collagen cream so potent they tell you to only use it for three weeks at a time! Shock

All fab IMO.

I use Clarins Huile Santal facial oil at night and it makes a real difference to my skin by the morning. It is quite ££ but a pot lasts me six months - good thing my birthday is halfway through the year! Grin

And Dermalogica Overnight Clearing Gel is brilliant for keeping spots away. I had rubbish skin before I started using it and it's now completely clear most of the time.

Also like Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, for day moisturiser I use Estee Lauder Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant SPF 15 Lotion or SunSense SPF30, at night Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum and then Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré.

Yep - another vote for Liz Earle (although I'm not keen on her moisturiser )

I use olive oil to cleanse. And a hot flannel to wipe it off. No moisturiser. If I need to exfoliate I add a pinch of salt to the oil. My skin looks fabulous.

I use Dr Haushka rose cream moisturiser if I want something light and Eliz Arden 8 hour cream if my skin is dry. I love them both!

dolceebanana · 27/05/2011 14:30

I too use a hot flannel (changed daily!), and Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, plus Clarins Multi-active Day and Night Cream. Plus have started using a Clarins hydration serum ('anti-soif'), and skin looking quite dewy.

Avon are bringing out a new solutions range and have a selection of products for combination skin, oil free gel creme products at insanely reasonable prices
