I need to find ds2 some new boots for school.

They must have good ankle support
Be Velcro, def NO laces
an adult size 6
and black.

I just cant seem to find any, kids Velcro boots stop at a Size 2
I did find a pair of mens but smallest size was a size 7 (he is really only a 5.5) and £85!!!

Help otherwise he'll be going to school barefoot!

How about these My son has a pair and the laces only need tying the first time, then he can take them on and off with the Velcro. They have great ankle support, my son wears them for Hypermobility Syndrome.

They look good, his size are £70 + vat OUCH!! But Piedro's do last a while. He has orthotic insoles.
I'll keep looking for something a little cheaper but it may have to be the piedro's :(

Oh, sorry...I hadn't realised the price shot with the bigger sizes :(

Oh, and if the boots are for a disabled child you don't have to pay VAT...

would some of those no tie shoelaces work in a laced pair of boot? Like this or this or this I'm sure there's more too

I've tried the no tie laces, £11 a pair & they'd snapped by the end of the day. Will have to be Velcro i'm afraid

Would a zip up ankle boot be sufficiently supportive? Something like Kickers Rocket Noir?

Possible Ouryve, I'll have a look. He cant do Zips either but they will be less of a PITA for his TA & wont keep coming undone.
Thanks

Have you tried geox? My son is hypermobile and they have good depth for orthotics and are very sturdy , trainers and ankle boots.
