Sorry, I think I found it under the old kitchen system. 75 pounds. Not a great photo on there but I remember a deep sink with a sloping wall.

Numerar sink 60cm. Item ref no 101.252.88.

It's Numerar, we have it. If you high tail it down to an Ikea, they had loads in bargain corner for £40. I think it may be discontinued. If it makes you feel any better, it was a PITA to stick tap holes in although it is lovely and just right for buckets and handwashing as it has a washboard on the sloping inner side

That was Edmonton - it won't show up on stock so you'd have to go on spec, also they didn't have any last week, but did the week before. Worth keeping an eye out though as returns also go straight to bargain corner. If you ask, they may be able to order you one in the kitchen department.

The pita was that you can only have two taps rather than a monobloc mixer because of where the waste is. Not a problem I hear you say, that looks lovely. And indeed it does, but pillar taps are quite specific and the hole cutter from ikea makes holes which are too damn big for them. So we had to order one specially and it took bleeding ages to find one. EBay have them though and once it came and I bought an appropriate metal drill bit to make the pilot and realised that you have to drill super slow through steel, it was all fine. We have Bristan pillar taps - look very janitorial!

Drill bit was 12mm - will need to check the punch size.

Sob sob sob, I went to get this sink from ikea last week but as I found out its discontinued :-( I had my heart set on this for my utility and now have no idea where to turn!

Randomly, any MNetters out there have a spare one at the back of the garage they never got round to fitting that I could buy off them?

Or secondly, has anyone seen any other deep, utility type sinks?

Many thanks :-)

Try googling janitor's sinks. Think that's what you're after.

Thankyou Pinkje

I think I may have found one!! I'm holding back my excitement as it from a site that I have always been wary off .... Alibaba. This is the sink in question

Has anyone ever ordered from this site? Is it reputable enough? I have emailed the seller and have had a very helpful reply (in very good English) and the sink is 240USD delivered to me (about £145 I think??)

Have you considered the Franke UTX 610? A good quality sink and they sell for around 160 online.

There are some good commercial sinks out there. We got one for our new house as we had to pull out the whole kitchen - it's free standing and 4ft wide and all stainless steel. So simple and beautiful.

It is noisy putting it together though...sounds like a steel band! Hope it is a little quieter in use. The sink itself is about 10" deep. Get one with an upstand at the back btw.

That Alibaba description says minimum order is 20, are you sure you've not been quoted the price for 20 units?
