I live about 30 mins away from bpas. I have no one to take me so I thought I will drive myself there. Do you think I would be able to drive my way back too? It's a maximum of 30 mins. What's your opinions?

You will get the medicine or prescription from hospital, then you can drive back. You can take the pills after you come back home.

If anything, by the time I get home, that's when it will start off, right? Trying to reassure myself...

They make you take them while there and you have to be accompanied home, very inconvenient but no way around it x

I'm at the clinic as we speak. Consultation completed. Didn't take long at all. My temperature was a bit high so they're giving me 5 mins to cool down before I get given the pills. Then I'm free to go home.

Ok, try not to worry, it said in my MS booklet it can take a while to start, maybe walk about a bit. I felt sad so I just went to sleep when I got home but I noticed I bled more and had more cramps when I got up and walked about a bit. X

Yeah the nurse told me to walk around and let gravity help the cramps. I've just been to the loo and like two blood clots had passed. So I don't know what that means....

I've not really had many blood clots after that. Just normal bleeding. Has it happened??

I asked that same question to the 24h nurse, I just had one clot and the rest was thickish blood. The nurse told me that in the early weeks you cant really tell, she said if I hadnt bleed that much I would need another scan in 2 weeks. If u have a helpline give them a call to put your mind at rest, try not to worry, I was the same. Hugs. X

@misslost okie dokes. My cramps have slightly lessened. I still have a hot water bottle with me whilst trying to put my 7 month old to sleep. I hope I'll manage to get some sleep too without causing a mess! 🙄
