Plus size maternity band

I'm thinking of buying a maternity band, but I'm a size 20/22 pre-pregnancy, and the standard ones seem to go up to an 18. Does anywhere sell plus size maternity bands?

that's a pain, they do seem to sell out of the popular stuff too quickly.

Asda do an xl one which fits me and I was similar size to you pre-pg.

Am having a bit of a nightmare finding much else though.

Just a quick thought - the Emma Jane one or Blooming Marvellous's own brand which is identical to the Emma Jane one( and has the bonus of coming in black as well as the normal white) have positive and negative velcro on each end so you could buy two in a size small to fit to each other at your sides. They would be very secure and I LOVE mine. The downside is being stung twice for a product you should be able to buy easily but in the absence of anything else this would def work. In fact you could probably pick these up really cheaply on eBay second hand - they are not the sort of item that gets manky and are machine washable anyway. Good luck

Just went to have a look for you on eBay - they have the Emma Jane Maternity belt on there new in a size 18/20 and 20/24 for a tenner. I don't know if this is the style you were after but they are excellent at taking the strain off your back and stopping that general achiness.

Ooo - someone is selling theirs (unused !) in auction with no bids so far and 99p start price. Size 22 - 24 with one day to go. Go for it

PS sorry for the three posts in a row. I have a habit of doing this

Toppy - thanks for looking! I actually already have a very fetching SPD belt - it's the boob tube thing that I'm looking for (don't seem to be able to find long tshirts at a sensible price!)

MrsKitty - will check out Asda - thanks.

amidaiwish - thanks for the link - quite pricy though! Think I may go for the cheapskate Asda version.

Another vote for asda here, got my bump band from there and am the same size! Also got some longish tshitrs from there too. H&M hennes had some nice long tshirts as well.

I got mine from Simply Be but I wouldn't recommend buying anything from them as I had a lot of hassle with items that I ordered but didn't arrive but that I was subsequently charged for along with extremely poor customer service. That said, I've just looked on their website and they don't do them any more so it's a moot point.

From experience though, you might not need as big a size as you think. I was 22-24 pre-pregnancy and I thought I'd need that size but they kept slipping down and I wished I'd invested in the next size down, so maybe a size 18 would be fine for your size.

I'm a 22 pre-pregnancy, and a friend gave me the Isabella Oliver bump band in a size 5/6--works perfectly. Their sizing information says a 5/6 fits sizes 16-20, but I'm fine in it as a 22!

Thanks everyone - have just ordered a couple from ebay in size 18-20 - would have gone with asda, but their website only had the small ones in stock - how rude!

I defo recommend "Bumpband" from bumpband.co.uk. Very comfy and supportive. Got one a Baby show, says up to 18 but stretches to a 22. Like an angel on my belly!!! Was a 20 pre-preg, now a 22.
