Any September 2020 due dates?!

tlw2211 · 04/01/2020 12:41

Hi Everyone!

I have got my BFP on FRER at 10 & 11 DPO and on clear due digital at 12 DPO showing 1-2 weeks
I know it is still early days and trying not to get our hopes up to soon but this would give rough dating of 3 +4 weeks and due date of 14th September!

This has happened on our first attempt at TTC so still very much in shock as we were anticipating it would take months. Haven't had too many symptoms just yet, some minor cramping/full ache at about 7-10dpo and sensitive nipples. Starting to feel tired and a tiny bit nauseas now aswell!

Is anyone else due in September? How are you feeling?!

First of all congratulations! I officially took my CB digital test yesterday and it gave me my BFP. (Before that I was doing my IC till my AF due date and didn't want to get to excited yet with the positives I got)

So according to my tracking app I am 4+2 with my due date being September also. (Estimating 11th)

Currently just having random twinge either my back or stomach. I had slight headaches and officially got over the cold. It's crazy to think 2020 has already started off amazing.

Feel like it won't sink in till I see a scan but that's soooooo far away! How are you feeling?

@tallulahhulah1 Congrats to you too!! It is so exciting but scary, I will be the first of all my friends to get pregnant so that's kind of terrifying as well haha!

Right there with you in terms of twinges, had a bit of lower back pain today aswell. Hot water bottle has been a life saver!

Do you think you will get an early private scan? I've been looking into it and thinking I might get one at 7 weeks just to put my mind at ease a bit.

@tlw2211 haha thank you!

Honestly just sitting with pillows on my back helps slightly. Also vivid dreams is another thing I hear happens a lot.

To be fair I did have a child before 15 years ago but now I'm in my 30s I feel like I'm experiencing it all other again for the first time.

I am considering doing it as I don't want to wait so long in between. Mainly because I have a miscarriage early last year so really want that assurance.

Have you told anyone yet? I want to shout at the rooftops but figuring when I should start informing close friends and family

@tallulahhulah1 ah okay! This is my first so have absolutely no clue what to do haha! Have you spoken to your GP/midwife yet?

No not told anyone yet, I really want to tell my mum but going to try and wait until we have already had early scan to make sure everything is okay and viable so far!

Oh don't worry I legit think everything has changed massively since I first went through it.

Like the fact you don't go to the GP in my area you just do a self referral. I picked St Thomas hospital so just waiting as It said 5-10 working days for the appointments and first midwife to come through. How do you book yours in on your area? Is it self referral as well?

I went out today got some vitamins and a few items I saw that are good for you at this time. My partner is a chef so that helps with the cooking. It's crazy the do's and dont's when it comes to what you should eat. Completely changing my diet.

Hi Ladies!! Hoping I can join this chat too, I got my BFP on Saturday and cant quite believe it, I had my implant removed in October and thought it would take a year or so! Im beyond happy and still in shock i think lol

Its so lovely to be able to speak to people going through similar.

@tallulahhulah1 St Georges and St Thomas's are the two closes hospitals to me and im not sure which one to go for! Ive heard mixed reviews. What made you decide St Thomas's, was it mainly distance?

Congratulations to you all on your bfps, what an exciting journey ahead we all have xxx

@Newyears2020 Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's crazy and exciting times for 2020

I had either St Thomas or Kings but I have heard so many crazy stories about Kings I chose not to go there. Funny enough I'm still waiting for my booking appointments to come through after I did my self referral. Think I'm going to have to call them up to see what's the hold up. Next week I will be 8 weeks so a little anxious about everything. Just want to make sure everything is going as plan.

@tallulahhulah1. Ahhh I see! I’m going to do some more research tonight and then decide, as I want to get my self referral form in ASAP! Especially if it takes a while to get an appointment.

How are your symptoms? Have you thought about maybe getting an early scan? A company Peek-a-baby do an early scan for £45 so I was thinking about having that for peace of mind!

Hi! Congratulations!

I took my test on Friday and based on my app I'm due on the 19th September with my first!

I've been considering St Thomas, Queen Charlotte or Chelsea & Westminster, but there's so many good and bad stories I have no idea which to go for Shock

Ahh @tallulahhulah1I have a GP appointment booked for Friday but in that case I guess I better pick and self refer to a hospital asap!

@Newyears2020 I'm very tempted to get an early scan when I hit week 7 (apparently you can't always see/hear a heartbeat at 6 weeks). I have found a Groupon for £39 in Watford which I'm trying to persuade my OH to go for!

So happy there's a chat for September due dates! Hopefully we can follow each other's journeys!
I'm 5 weeks today with my first. First month trying to conceive so it was a nice surprise to get a positive!
My due date is 23rd September (estimate). Just got my midwife appointment letter today, very nervous about the whole thing!

I've had very mild nausea and cramping. But I've been exhausted! I'm a secondary teacher so it is very hard to not keep my energy up in class!
@Newyears2020 I'm also thinking an early scan, just to help with my nerves!

I hope all you ladies (and future ladies on this post) have a smooth ride!

newlymarried2019 · 23/01/2020 06:39

@Rebeccalin I'm also a secondary teacher; currently 6 weeks + 2days pregnant. Due approx 16th Sept (ready for the new academic year😬)

How's everyone's symptoms?
Other than feeling tired (which is actually more of a personality trait for me) and being bloated I don't seem to feel very pregnant yet. I'm waiting for MS to kick in, almost as an indicator that everything is progressing as normal!!

LatteLover12 · 23/01/2020 06:58

Morning @newlymarried2019 😊

My symptoms are sore boobs and tiredness. Sickness usually kicks in for me at about 7 weeks.

My boobs have been killing me since last week which is what got me thinking that this month could be it. I knew I was pregnant for a few days before I took the test and when I finally did the line is ridiculously strong 😬

How's everyone finding it not telling people?

Hi all! Hope it's ok i jump on this band wagon!

I got my BFP 1 week ago today but didnt really fully believe it until I took a clearblue digital yesterday and it was spelt out for me 😂.

With regards to estimating the due date, has anyone found that depending on which due date estimater you use you get a +/- 2 or 3 day difference? I would estimate I'll be due on the 26th september though!

@LatteLover12 how did you get on with telling your OH?? Hope all went well!
Also finding it difficult not to tell people!! But I had to let slip to a couple of close work collegues yesterday... I work in the operating theatres as a scrub nurse so lots of hazards like xrays and bone cement to navigate! Will have to formally tell my boss next week at some point for a risk assessment 😬

I have zero major symptoms at 4+5 apart from tiredness, which was a common pre pregnancy occurrence for me anyway 😂

tallulahhulah1 · 23/01/2020 13:57

So my symptoms are nausea all the time, turned off food and really wish people would stop warming up fish in the office. But I'm sure that's just everyone lol. Nipples are sore and boobs feel tender. Had cramps and this may sound like TMI but anyone dealing with the extreme discharge. I have had to start wearing panty liners now 🙈.

Finally after two weeks wait I have had my first booking appointment sorted and my scan. It must be a busy time of the year as I won't see my midwife till 9 weeks and first Scan nearly 13 weeks. So it's definitely making me think to do an early scan as that's a long time to wait :-(

Report
LatteLover12 · 23/01/2020 15:08

Hey @KerryTTC I did tell him last night. We were heading to bed and I nipped upstairs before him and hid the babygro under his pillow. He's very excited!

I've started to feel very mild nausea today too @tallulahhulah1 I know it's going to get worse though. My sickness usually peaks weeks 7-9.

I think I'll probably book for an early scan at 9 weeks if I can. I had a couple of losses a few years ago so I'm not sure I'll be able to wait until 12 weeks to know everything is okay.

Is anyone else constantly hungry?? I feel like I go from not hungry at all to so hungry I could eat my own arm with nothing in between!

@LatteLover12 I hear that. I had a MC around the same time last year so feeling slight anxious. This time round I feel I was more prepared and feel this is different. But I think I just need to rest my mind by booking one. The wait is too much

I'm in a bit of a dilemma because I moved house a few months ago and didn't tell my GP practice because I love them & I don't want to leave. That's not going to wash with the community midwife though is it? I'm going to have to find a new GP before I can find a midwife! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Then I'm thinking I don't want to jinx anything and tell anyone too soon... agh!
