Anyone else due in November?!

Had to delete my last post as typed 'anyone die in November' by accident (doughnut!). Can't imagine I'd have got too many responses 🤦🏽‍♀️

I'm 4 weeks pregnant, very bad sickness already, exploding boobies, terrified as first time mum, think every twinge is the start of a mc, don't know where to start with preparing for this, though also super excited and so is my other half.

Anyone else due in November 2018? And how are you feeling this early on? Congrats in advance!

Hey, I would join you on this one. I prefer smaller groups :)
I am currently 5+6 with my first. Apart from feeling incredibly tires and having sore boobs (they bloody grew big already!) - there is not much more I could report. I have my first private scan at 7+3 to check whether there is a heartbeat.
Next to my husband, we have no other relatives in England that could give us a hand. So I am really scared how we are going to manage on our own....
How do you feel ?

Hello! I like small groups too :)

According to an app, I'm due on 5th November. It's my first baby and I'm worrying about every little twinge ha!

Hope all is going well for you x

This morning I received my appointment letter for the midwife. Halo First appointment to go through stuff is at 8+5 & first hospital scan will be at 12+3. I am still shocked that the UK would not do any scans before - but anyway. That's a different story Hmm .

However, I am excited about my first private scan next week. Seeing a heartbeat hopefully will make it real.

Did you ladies tell your family and friends yet that you are having a baby ? For me, only my parents, my DH & FIL know about it. As we live abroad to most of our family, I do not know how to break the news to them. Over the phone or skype does not feel right Confused . I cannot travel until I am 16 weeks pregnant due to schedule.

@jasmin93 congrats! I am still waiting to see my GP on Wednesday.

May I ask where you are doing your private scan? I'm currently panicking (keep getting little tummy aches) so it might be an idea to get an earlier one for me too so that it puts my mind at rest...

Hey @MochiBean
My GP in north London refused to see me. They said I need to fill in a "self-referral' form online, which I did 1 week ago.
They would only help me if I had any complications like bleeding or bad cramping.

As I did not want to wait until after 12 weeks, & simply for my own reassurance, I booked a private scan near my house in Hendon at Ultrasound direct. With £90 for an early scan they dont come cheap.
But I have a friend abroad who fell pregnant & her "baby" had no heartbeat and was later taken out. I really want to avoid that.....

MochiBean · 05/03/2018 13:26

@jasmin93 oh gosh, I'm sorry to hear that! I'm hoping to avoid that too, though I understand that sadly there's not really anything we can do if it does happen :(

My GP doesn't say anything about not seeing people, so I'm hoping they'll at least tell me what I need to do next. I have some uncomfortable stomach pain today (Not really cramps) which is worrying me so I'm hoping my GP can put my mind at ease about that too!

Hi! I thought I was 6 weeks and 5 days and due October 26th but early scan today (to rule out ectopic) showed I'm 5weeks and 2 so due November 3rd (the day before my birthday!)
So I guess I should jump in this group :)
Early scans can be reassuring however this was my second and the first scan we couldn't see anything so it was very nerve wracking. If I had a choice I probably would get a scan before 8 weeks.
This is my second pregnancy - first ended in missed miscarriage at 9 weeks 4 days so I'm quite anxious to get to 12 weeks!!
Congratulations to everyone

I'm due beginning of Nov 18
This is my 2nd as my daughter has just turned 7 last week.
I'm experiencing mild cramping and twinges, sore boobs, bloating etc... anxiety is through the roof as I miscarried in December 17. Keep wishing the days away waiting for my 12 week scan. My app tells me I'm 4 weeks 4 days. We're excited but at the same time scared

Hello all, and congrats. Is there a big group yet?!

I'm due November 15. Found out this evening. It is both our first pregnancy, and DH is over the moon.

I am thrilled, but terrified my period will suddenly arrive. Boobs are agony and I I have twingy fizzy popping in my lower abdomen. I don't want AF to get me...

Congratulations all! I'm 4 weeks today with my first. Never been so bloomin' excited or terrified in my life! Fear of miscarriage is taking over my life. How on earth do you all chill?

I have worked out roughly I’m 4 weeks + 4 days. Will self refer to the maternity unit at my chosen hospital but I think I will have an early scan too. But the early scan says you must be 6+ weeks. What if I’ve miscalculated?? And go for the early scan and it’s before the 6 weeks?

Report
AriAliyah · 06/03/2018 07:57

@pissedoffnurse101 I've booked an early scan. I spoke to the consultant there who advised to come after 7 weeks. Sometimes at 6 weeks a heartbeat can't be detected even if it's there which can cause unnecessary worry (when in fact everything is fine!). Good luck and congrats!

pissedoffnurse101 · 06/03/2018 08:05

How will I know exactly how far along I am? From what I’ve been told, they don’t give early scans under NHS. Should I do another test which tells you?

Report
AriAliyah · 06/03/2018 08:27

@pissedoffnurse101 your pregnancy is usually dated from the first day of your last period. If you have no idea when that is it's a little more difficult. Do you know when your last period started?

pissedoffnurse101 · 06/03/2018 08:32

21st January!

But I only had my implant out beginning of December and came on my period 12th December for 6 days and then it was the 21st January before I came on again. So not really too sure of my cycle length

Hello everyone, I've got a provisional due date of 10th November. I already have a DD. I had a MC last year so I'm very anxious but keeping everything crossed and trying not to overthink everything! Hope everyone is ok.

Hi all.
I was stuck in the snow and ventured out yesterday to do a test. It was positive.
Quite unexpectedly but delighted of course.
According to the online calculator I'm due November 2nd.
It's my third baby. I already have ds (9) and dd (6) and im 32 years old.
I'd love to join you.
I've had a mc before so am very nervous now. I've got tiny pains in my lower abdomen and am a little worried but I've had those before I found out and it's still sticking so far so good.
How is everyone else?

I've been the same lower abdomen pains, I suffer from IBS, si cannot work out whether it is that or baby. Is anyone suffering with not being able to go to the loo, full of wind too (sorry for graphic details lol) someone told me it could be the pregnacare supplements I'm taking

Report
SurfingGiantess · 06/03/2018 13:58

As far as I remember wind and constipation can be symptoms of pregnancy.
Definitely the wind anyway. I can't button up my jeans with it Grin
