I'm 18 weeks pregnant and wondered when you all felt movements for the first time? I haven't felt anything yet. This is my first though. Just getting a bit paranoid!!
Thanks

You might have an anterior placenta, I thought that was bullshit Blush (as I've had two with posterior placentas who kicked like crazy from 16 weeks) but it makes a massive difference to how early first movements are felt. I've just had my 20w scan and this one was pounding like crazy and I felt nothing at all!

I was 16 weeks today and at the ante natal clinic, I mentioned movement to the consultant there and he said not to expect to feel anything for at least a few more weeks.
At the moment I can't wait, I suspect in 8 weeks I'll have had more than enough of being kicked! Grin

First time around you don't feel the movements for ages, or at least you don't think you do!

Most mums who have more than one say they feel it much earlier second time round.

I remember feeling dc2 really early on, about 16 weeks?

Can't remember with the first, but definitely after 20 weeks.

Don't worry, those kicks will come any day now, probably just your super toned stomach muscles masking the movements Smile

Make the most of those btw (mwah hahaha!)

I felt bubbling feelings at 13 weeks with no.1 was quite slim, unsure if thats why. Quite distinctive and not wind!

Most guides say it can be between 16-25 weeks so could be in for long wait!

About 21-22 weeks with my first - it was definitely after my 20 week scan. To be fair, it was probably earlier than that, but mistook the little baby movement bubbles for a trapped fart Blush
10 weeks with number 2 at the moment, and am anticipating feeling movements earlier this time round!

17 weeks I started getting the odd kick, how at 18 weeks I get them several times a day. They're very subtle though and I don't feel them unless I'm sitting or laying quietly.

Thanks everyone. It's reassuring that other people haven't felt them until later on. I have tried to feel for them...if that makes sense. When I'm lying down I have tried to concentrate and see if I can feel anything but haven't been able to! It was very bizarre when I had my 12 scan and could see her wriggling around a lot but couldn't feel anything. I know they're too small then but still very bizarre!
Thanks everyone for your comments. Hope everyone has a nice eater :)
