Did you feel different nausea-wise in your pregnancies? Boys or Girls?

I'm 17 weeks today with DC2. In my first pregnancy I felt nauseous all day between 5 and 14 weeks. He is a boy.
This time I have been feeling less nauseous in the day but horrendous in the evening. Until about 13 weeks I felt completely wiped out after 6pm. At 17 weeks I still feel sick in the evenings.

Tell me your anecdotes, does this mean this one's a girl? What's more reliable, old wives tales about nausea or new wives tales on the nub theory (which says it's a boy!)?

For me:

Nausea for boys - DC 2 and DC3

Exhaustion for girls - DC1 and DC4

Nauseous all day with both mine. For months.
Both mine are girls.
My anecdotal evidence from friends is that more sick means its more likely to be a girl. Especially if different from the first one and the first one was a boy.

Just for me not heard anyone else say this but with dd I had morning sickness from 6-14 weeks and I was actually sick every morning. I remember setting my alarm 15 mins earlier on a morning to allow for being sick!
With ds again sickness bang on 6 weeks up until week 14 but never ever sick just felt sick.
Very strange.

DD - 41 weeks of nausea and retching, exhaustion, crippling SPD.
DS - a bit tired.

No nausea last time with a girl, this time no nausea but totally and utterly shattered (although no spring chicken this time round) and nub theory at 14 week scan suggests another girly.

I didn't think the nub theory was an old wives tale though. I read at 14 weeks its fairly accurate, about 90%?

I never once felt sick during my first pregnancy and that was DD.
This time i have been sick as a pig from week 4 until week 14. Hoping to find out the sex next month!

DS - occasional mild nausea. Slight PGP
DD - bad nausea some nights. Bad PGP (not crippled or anything but really limited daily activity)

DS1 - very little nausea, only actually vomited twice
DS2 - bad nausea until 20 weeks which was replaced by God awful heartburn. Was vomiting a fair bit so everyone was convinced it was a girl this time.

Extreme nausea - 3 girls (one miscarriage that was a girl)

Everyone I know apart from one person had nausea with girls not boys.

The person who had nausea with boys had hyperemesis gravidarim and was hospitalised with both for 9 months each.

DS1 - felt nauseous all of the time from 6-11 weeks, was only actually sick once every couple of days. Fine from 11 weeks.

DS2 - horrendously sick from 5-16 weeks (hospitalised twice with dehydration, needed anti-sickness meds - even midwives were telling me that it would be because this one was a girl). Still felt nauseous up to about 20 weeks, then finally felt well.

DC3 - am 17 weeks, pattern is almost identical to DS2. Obviously don't know yet what we are having, but in my mind it's another boy.

DC1: nausea and vomiting from 8-14 weeks. Then felt amazing - healthier than I've ever felt in my life. Mild SPD and a bit tired at the end, but otherwise sailed through pregnancy.

DC2: no vomiting, but all day nausea for pretty much the whole pregnancy. SPD was much worse (but baby ended up being almost 11lbs at birth ). Absolutely knackered throughout, though was three years older and obviously also had DC1 to look after.

Terrible nausea with DS1, set off by horrifically sensitive sense of smell. Rarely sick though. Cleared up at 12 weeks. Low bump, had to move into new clothes at 8 weeks pregnant.

Vomited up blood with DS2 and much, much worse nausea. However, could control it much better with food and no sensitive smell at all. Was worst 6-11 weeks and then really improved. Very high bump - wore my normal trousers until 36 weeks.

Totally different pregnancies, both boys!

Terrible sickness all the way through DC1, bad sickness and fainting with DC2, bad nausea but no sickness with DC3 so all completely different, 2 x girls and 1 boy!

DD - mild morning sickness and nausea from 8-16 weeks,
Currently 22 weeks pregnant, been told it's a DS at 20 week scan, MUCH more sickness and nausea, all day, 7-19 weeks.

Nausea throughout each day until bang on 20 weeks with all three DC-2 boys, one girl.

It got progressively stronger with each pregnancy but apparently this is quite common and more to do with subsequent pregnancies than sex of child.

No experience in personal comparison as i only have one DD but i was just nauseous never sick and not that bad. My sister was quite sick and she had a boy.
A friend was fine with number one and it was a boy and was almost hospitalised for dc 2 so was convinced it was a girl. When baby finally arrived.....another boy.
