A very faint line. I'm pregnant, aren't I?

Been TTC for a while, and POAS this morning, and got a very faint line in the T window. AF was due yesterday, and no sign.

I've also had very puffy eyes and upper cheeks the last few days, is this a symptom? Never had anything like that with PFB (3.5).

Advice please!

A line is a line. That's what my DP said to me this morning too Grin

Congratulations.

Not sure about puffiness, but I had an inkling because I have some spots on my face, I never ever get spots

Got all teary now, I must be up-duffed!

Thank you everyone! I think that I'm gonna get one of those digital tests just to put my mind at rest, I've pissed on so many sticks the last few months I can't believe that we've finally done it!

Congratulations to you too Lotsa

That happened to me and I was indeed duffed up. Continued to do them every couple of days and line got darker each time. Congratulations!

Yep! Congrats! My line with first DS didn't come up until after I had a nap.

Both times I have had such a faint line I thought I was imagining it, but those lines turned into 16 month old ds and 16 week baby in ma belly! In 2 or 3days line will be darker! Congrats! X

Well I'm confused now. Bought a 2 pack of Clearblue digital tests and did one Sunday pm, BFN. Did one Monday with FMU, BFN. Still no AF.

My periods have been a bit irregular recently, so that casts extra doubt on the situation, but I don't feel like I'm due on.

Puffiness has gone down, but got very dry, flaky skin on and around my chin, which looks lovely!

Gah! I'm gonna have to go to the docs, aren't I?

The clear blue digital aren't very sensitive. I would test again using the same brand of test you used the first time.

My faint line is currently singing her little heart out and is 2 next month.

Congratulations. :)

The first brand was Predictor, if that makes a difference?

Try first response (pink pack), that has always shown positive for me before any other test

Oh, and agonising as it is, try and wait till first morning urine, or do not drink fluids for a few hours before testing...

I agree with Robin (arf by the way!), clearblue are least sensitive on the market. I got BFPs on Internet cheapies that were fuzzy and then a really clear BFP on a First Response Early Response so I'd second that as the choice of test. They are very sensitive.

I never had a positive on a clear blue. ever, best ones were the cheap 99p ones from home bargains that arent in a plastic ase iyswim.

Clearblue actually says in words pregnant or not pregnant, but I think a line is a line Smile

I got a positive on a Predictor and then negs on everything else. Guess which one was right.. I ignored it till I fainted a couple of weeks later and then did a tesco cheapy that was positive before I even put it down!

Oh sorry Fizzy. Was AF a bit late? I wondered with the faint BFP if it might have been a chemical pregnancy?

Report
FizzyMakeFeelNice · 09/01/2013 10:59

Thanks Having. AT was due on the 5th, but the last few Months my cycle has been a bit irregular. I'm a bit new to this TTC thing as PFB was a happy accident, so what's a chemical pregnancy, if you don't mind?
