Who would like to join me for a self-indulgent whinge?

I am, of course, delighted to be pregnant and am being totally self-indulgent. But I'm only 30+5, I've been pregnant for all of eternity, and I still have flipping ages to go! Who else is really not that close to the end but fed up with being uncomfortable and knackered? Not helped by having a cold and feeling under the weather, I know, but I can't help feeling a bit despairing at the prospect of weeks and weeks of getting even bigger and more uncomfortable, before being tortured for some indefinite period before I finally get to meet my baby. Come whine with me...

31+4 with no5 and counting the days.....fed up of feeling useless...back aches, UTI meaning antibiotics and the resulting thrush, up several times a night for trips to bathroom, waddling.....but very excited to be having a baby...cant wait to meet this little one and am actually looking forward to labour.
There are loads of good bits though....the look on DD4s face this morning when the baby kicked her....she loves this baby, it gets more kisses than i do, bu the look of horror!

34+2 with my first and at that bit where it's so close but still so far. Still have this and next week at work. I really can't be arsed with it. I'm getting patients I can't build a relationship with cos beyond their first appointment I wont see them again. I've suddenly become an insomniac cos I just can't switch off at night. So far this pregnancy has been really plain sailing touch wood no sickness, pain, bh etc but I just want the critter out now!

So glad it's not just me! Another four and a half weeks left at work... So fed up. Can't sleep and busy and stressed at work. Just want to fast forward now!

oh my god i thought when i was 31 I would feel so close! am 18 weeks and keep thinking I am nearly half way...pants. I am such a worry wart that all I can think about is having healthy baby and am freaking out about everything but I guess that doesn't stop when they are born does it! Bugger must learn to control myself somehow then... Michael Mcintyre does a brilliant sketch about having kids and basically just keeping them alive - has me cracking up every time!

30 wks and ready to punch the next person that says 'well..you're only going to get bigger' when I feel like having a moan because I'm fat and uncomfortable!!

Oh god, I hate that too. Also people saying "not long now". It is long! It's over another 6 weeks just to 37 weeks. It could be more than 11 weeks if I went to 42. "Not long" my arse.

Ooh me! Also 30 + 2 now and another one who thought by the time I got to this stage i'd let thinking not long now but its still ages isn't it. Like you say could still be another 11 weeks if we go over due. I've got another 5 weeks left at work and really really cant be bothered. Work seems like such a nuisance at the moment-lol! Its hard to imagine getting any bigger. I already look like a semi detached house!

Agreed - I am massive and it looks like I have a litter of puppies squirming around inside me. How can it continue to grow for another 11 weeks without me actually bursting?

I thought the last trimester would go even faster than the second - but it's feeling as slow as the first! And the insomnia is back as is a touch of nausea (not nearly as bad as the sickness in first trimester but still...). And now I'm uncomfortable as well with rib pain, back pain, hip pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and split abdo muscles. 5 weeks 3 days to go - although evveryone is telling me with that really annoying "knowing" look..."oooh you won't make it that far, love". Fack off, will you?

Me please! I'm 31+3 and getting royally fed up with hearing myself moan (and I seem to spend most of the time complaining to the lovely ladies on my ante natal thread too Blush)

Fed up with feeling uncomfortable all the time, insomnia (plus the exhaustion that comes with it), hip pain, ridonkulously painful kicks from baby, braxton hicks, and of course the lovely (TMI) piles Sad

Luckily I work from home, but can only afford 6 months off (and that will be a huge stretch), so I'm working right up to my due date. I spent today working at my desk, but sat on my gym ball, which made for an interesting day Hmm Who knows how I'll manage working another 8.5 weeks!

Thanks for starting the thread - most therapeutic Smile

I'd also like to moan about the hideous thrush i've had this week. Truly awful. Really hope it isn't going to be a common thing for next 10 weeks or that will really tip me over the edge.

oh god so fed up of sounding like a moany whinge bag and dp is being lovely but i want this baby out of me right now! i am 34 wks and keep saying to myself only 6 wks to go but it feels like forever. so fed up of feeling like crap all the time, faint and sick, and apparently braxton hicks dont hurt, well they bloody do. trying to do my degree and school runs and not scream at the kids for no reason and now i have a cold, its the last straw.
get out, get out, get out, get out.

I am 38+3 and I have HAD ENOUGH!! This pregnancy has sucked from day one - I've felt like crap for the past 9 months, my back is killing me, I've had nigh-constant UTIs, and there is scarcely a department of the hospital that hasn't had a go at poking and prodding me - including, as of Monday, A&E, due to a constantly bleeding finger which turned out to be, guess what, pregnancy related, and may require my having my little fingernail removed.

I haven't had a full nights sleep in months, and a warning to the next person to tell me "oh just wait till the baby arrives, then you'll know what tiredness feels like" - I WILL SIT ON YOU and believe me that's no idle threat because this baby weighed nearly 8lb at 36 weeks and the little madam doesn't seem to be doing anything but getting bigger and kicking me a lot, and yes darling, I realise that's because you don't have a lot of room in there, so here's a clue: GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT NOW!!!!

I really hope DD is ok with being an only child, because if not she should have thought about that before she started TORTURING me!

I'd like to join the moaning thread even though I'm only 24+2. I already feel huge and have started waddling. I'm getting fed up with being useless, picking things up from the floor is hard and we are meant to be decorating at home but I am no help at all because I can't lift anything.

I'm SO fed up with sleeping on my side, waking up every couple of hours and having to swap becuase I've gone all stiff.

I'm also fed up with backache and aching pelvis (where is my physio appointment NHS??).

Nelson's Tea Tree Cream, available from all good chemists, is what you need for your thrush (but better check it can be used in pregnancy)

Third trimester is the worst because u can't do anything properly! Been getting DP and DS to zip my boots for me because I can't reach.
'not long now...'

22 weeks with twins, yes thank you mum/supermarket checkout people/man on the train, I am aware of the fact that I look full term - I feel it too. I'm knackered and bored, can't bend over, feet and back are killing me, just waiting to get my next cold (one a month so far), and if we're lucky and I don't go prematurely, I've got another 15 weeks of this crap to go. And this week has been the slowest ever, I can't believe it's only Wednesday.

I would like a whinge please!
21 weeks, knackered, turning over at night is becoming a two person job and sleep has desserted me!
Both my jobs seems to be doing all they can to not let me go on maternity leave when I want to. I also seem to be totally useless at work, not actually able to concentrate on anything and mainly count the days until I can leave.
The last nine weeks is going to take forever!
Feel better now, thanks!
