Gift ideas for dc1 'from' dc2?

Title says it all really. I want to get ds1 a gift 'from' dc2. Ds1 has brought a teddy for dc2 (not sure he really knows that but he will be giving it to dc2 when they first meet with the help of dh) He is only 19mo and I don't think he has a clue what's happening!
Any ideas

What about a baby doll so he can take care of it while you take care of the baby? Other than just something he really likes.

ds2 bought ds1 a toy till, simply because it was something he desperately wanted at the time!

ds3 bought ds2 a toy lawnmower and ds1 something that I can't remember!

Ooh! Watching this thread. I've been told to get something for DD from DS(to be!) as they have a biggish age gap.

Maybe get a toy that will last for years to come? Like a teddy or a wooden toy train? My Dad got my big sis a teddy elephant when I was born, and she still has it and remembers fondly when Dad took her to the shops to buy it, and then they brought me home from hospital the next day!!

DD1 (will be nearly 4) is getting a camera from DD2. She loves taking photos with my phone and I thought she would like to take photos when she meets her sister

DC2 has got DS a waterproof watch, as he has been banging on about them for weeks. It finally arrived this morning - thankfully before overdue DC2 did!

Depending on age of ds1 how about a kiddie camera and he could be the chief photographer when baby comes home?

The kid's camera is a good idea, will help your DS feel more involved.

My DC2's present to DC1 was a "Big Sister" t-shirt and badge, which she loves wearing.

DS bought DC1 (a DD) Peppa and George pig as we'd used the rogramme to explain to her what was going to happen. Is there something like that (programme, film, book) that would fit the bill for you?

DD2 got DD1 a digital camera (kids one--half price at ELC!!), and DD1 got DD2 a stuffed dog.

Thanks for the ideas ladies.
I'll go shopping tomorrow. I'm not sure ds is old enough for a camera. He's 19 months and is at the 'lets see how far i can throw this?/ which toilet can I throw this down?' stage. A wooden train is a great ideas.
Thanks again

We got something for DD2 to give DD1, 21 month gap. DD1 was more taken with the packet of Milky Buttons she got to eat in hospital! So with no. 3 he just brought each of the girls a packet of sweets to eat at the hospital. They don't often get to eat a whole packet in one go so in their eyes it was a treat. My mum had taken girls to buy a wee rattle each for DS. This time round baby (no. 4) is due 2 days before x-mas so we will be going the packet of sweets route again.

As a midwife told one of my friends you are giving your child the biggest gift you can gift them in giving them a sibling. Toys will soon be forgotten but not a sibling.

I got a snakes and ladders board from my bro when he was born (30 years ago!) and I still have it.
