Right, here's this week's summary of requests .......

PandaG - Has trapped nerve in shoulder / neck - very painful - Prayers for quick release from pain ....

mumtogusandalbie - Really struggling with painic attacks & anxiety too. On lots of drugs & has ben signed off work. Lots & lots of prayers for healing and endurance....Please put lots of support around your precious child, Lord ....

CaptainCaveman - Struggling to deal with DH's attitude towards TTC - made worse by friend who has just announced that she is PG. Praise God for DH's new job & help them as they make decisions about MiniCaveman#2!

Dejags - Praise God that her wee girl Carys is making progress since being in hospital seriously ill with a virus - Prayers that she continues to makes good recovery.....

MaryBS - Prayers for Judy who is dying - praying that she would be released from her pain soon & prayers for her DD as she copes with the situation with which she is faced right now. Prayers for adopted DNiece who is experiencing nightmares about "Tummy Mummy".

Roseylea - Prayers for wisdom as she seeks to set up a Prayer Group at the school where she works. Prayers for poor DD who has horrendeous impetigo atm.

WeirdBird - Prayers for her as she juggles children and various committments (esp with the NCT) Prayers for DD1 as she goes to hospital on Wed (13th June) for nut allergy testing on the ward.

Suzy - Continued prayers for her & DH as they launch their gardening business following DH's redundancy.

fannyanny - Prayers for swift release & recovery from bad neck / shoulder pain.

harrisey - Prayers for continued return to health as she has had UTI and poss kidney stones and has been feeling v.poorly. Esp as she is currently supposed to be studying too and her DH is working long hrs on top of his study - Praise God that DH's counselling has really helped!

bobsmum - Prayers for church leader who has suffered severe heart attack and for his family (wife & 2 teenage children) as they struggle to cope with the situation.

CaptainDippy - Prayers that the Dippy Household would have a great week as DH is off work. Prayers for them as they approach the beginning of DH's new job, new routine etc. Can't think of anything else, but I am sure there's more ......

Just to let you know Judy passed away last night - "a holy death, all comforted by faith" as M. put it. Very sad, but a blessed release from her pain.

Thank you Lord for the gift of life. We pray that Judy is now safe in your care, freed from mortal pain. Take care of S., her daughter, that she experiences the love she needs through this most difficult time for her. Support her in her faith, and those around her also. Amen.

Oh Mary thats so sad, even though we knew from your messages it was coming. Her poor poor dd. I pray that God will surround her with people who love her and can help her through the hard and sad times ahead.

CD I didn't know your dh had a new job too? When did that happen!? Congratulations though!!

FA and Panda - how are you neck pains today? Praying you both are pain free soonest.

WB - has your dd shown signs of allergy or do they test because you have an allergy? Praying all goes well and she is allergy free.

Oh Mary - to hear about Judy, but that she is with her Father now!! Praying for strength for her DD. It is so much harder for those left behind - praying that she would get lots of love, help & support through the difficult times ahead. When is the funeral??

Yes, CC, DH got a new job the week before last - still working for the same people, but a step towards more promotion, iykwim - Exciting stuff, but tough cos it'll mean travelling .... .....

CC - Hope you made it out of your PJ's, working from home I have been known to stay in mine all day when fighting a deadline

DD1 hasnt shown any sign of allergy, but I have kept her off all nuts so unless she has had some by accident I wouldnt know, I have an allergy to peanuts which is why I wanted her tested to see if I have passed it on. My lovely DH told me last night that he had some peanuts last week (after having almost none since we met) and he said that he no longer likes them so I can stop feeling guilty about him not having them.

CD - Your a star, am not sure I could do a 3rd am trying to decide at the moment, but am not sure I could give up my Pimms again for so long (guess what I had yesterday?!?! )

Suzy - Really hope your first day goes well!!

Panda - Am praying for your neck, can highly recomend seeing a osteopath, I didnt have full rotation in mine for over 5 years without some pain and dont know why I left it so long to sort out, its great now!

Glad your neck is a wee bit better, Panda - have been praying - I have lots of on-going problems with my shoulders / neck - so I know what a pain it is ("a pain in the neck", in fact - )

Well, DD's 1 & 2 are playing in their bedroom & DD3 is sleeping. DH is making playdough in the kitchen & I'm just catching up here ...... lovely! Off to children's cafe after a bit of dough play .....

Neck pain still there - though not quite as bad - it now hurts when I'm eating (swallowing to be more precise) so it's almost certainly the muscles around my neck

Sounds like a lively day, and yes I made it out of my pjs - have some time owing so don't feel guilt about being late to work (plus no one was relying on me).

Am in shock - George Michael did a free concert for nurses in December 06 and I registered to try and get tickets but wasn't successful. Had an email last week (via work email) to say he was giving more free tickets to nurses for sunday 10th June gig. So i applied (this was tuesday) and it said you would hear the following day if successful. Didn't hear anything.
Got to work today, what does my email say....You have been allocated 2 tickets!! with details of how to collect them. Concert was last night - and I didn't even know I had tickets!!!!!!!

Our friend is much improved!

He's still in hospital and will be for some time, but can move to a chair occasionally and his daughter says "he looks more like himself"

The Malawi group have all got away safely, but prayers for their health and safety would be much appreciated.

I have a new job (kind of) which is leading to a lot of opportunities. I'm an agent selling handmade childrens clothes (yummy yummy stuff] There is a lot of potential to meet new folks and strike up conversations etc.

One thing dh and I are praying about is a monthly craft fair at our local New Age centre. Now it could be really really stupid and ill judged of me to even think about it, or it might be a great opportunity to build realtionships. wIll post more after kids bedtime if I get a minute, but it's dd's 2nd birthday tomorrow so I'll be cake baking

Mary - thanks for letting us know about Judy. Sad, and yet happy , because we know where she is now. A bit like I felt when my Gran died - sad for me, and for those who loved her, but happy for her, because all pain is over now.

I'm not sure how I am doing. I ha to come home from college today with a high temp and headache - have changed my antibiotics and hada lot of water and cranberry juice and just hoping this isnt going up into my kidneys.

But I have handed in todays esay, last is due on Friday, Its 2500 words, I have done 1200, so it is halfway there.

Pleae pray I get there. I have real phobia of doctors and hospital - I mean seriously sitting at home in morphine-needing pain refusing to go to hospital. So I hope this time I will be OK.

Oooh CCM I would be so so SO if I missedout on a concert like that! (Not that George Michael is my cuppa tea tbh but even so...) (actually I used to love him when I was about 13 and my sister and I actually managed to get his home address! And we went round with a present for him!!! And his mum answered the door and said "I'm terribly sorry my dears, he's away on tour at the moment" and she was soooooo nice to us!!! Hee hee! The things our parents let us do...)

Bobsmum, so glad to hear that your church leader is on the up. Please Lord continue to heal and strengthen his body. The selling of children's clothes sounds good...but hmm, I can see the issue of going along to the New Age Centre. Perhaps pop along for a visit and see how you feel about the place and the people generally? (if you haven't done that already, that is...)

Well dd's imetigo has turned out to be chicken pox (with or without impetigo - it's hard to tell as she is so covered in spots). She is coping amazingly well - she bears illness so bravely, bless her.

Can I share something a bit odd? (as if I need to ask!) At work there is a woman with whom I work closely and spend most of my time. Well last week I decided to start praying that she would come to know Jesus, and every day I have prayed for her since then. I haven't told her this, but it's weird - she has been really difficult to talk to, defensive, withdrawn, etc etc since then. Do you think that something could be going on spiritually, that is making her feel uncomfortable? Hmmm....

dd dropped a bit of a bombshell last night in that she been smoking weed. This happened before chirstmas but she chose to tell a friend the other week who she knew would tell his mum, so she came last night and made her tell me. Also she had found or rather rooted through stuff to find divorce letters, so she been worrying about that too.

Told her it wasn't the taking it that was the problem but the reasons why.

She said she fed up, and lifes a bumber - so prayers would be appreciated that she learns to find someone who she can talk to and will talk about whats bothering her. She says it takes too long for her tosay stuff and she's so like her dad she just bottles it all up until she explodes.

Hello - I quite strongly dislike my oldest DD's atm - they have been refusing point blank to go to bed for the last hour and a bit - messing around, screaming, laughing, running round the bedroom etc etc - DH & I both lost our rag a couple of times I am currently sat here with tissue in my ears, trying to ignore them. I think DD1 may have crashed, but DD2 is definitely still going - feeling very wound up and cross ..... Grrrrr! Neeeeeeeed to calm down......esp as DH has gone out now They are shouting for me - don't want to go in there cos it winds me and them up even more & I am scared of what I might do / say atm, tbh.

Feeling v."bad mummy" atm.

DD2 kicking the side of her cot repeatedly now. I know I am under spiritual attack here cos I was feeling so & positive earlier. It is not fair - I sometimes feel like I am never allowed to be truly happy or content.

Rosey - Poor DD!!! Bless her - praying the Dreaded Pox / Impetigo slows down & disappears soon. Definitely think that the woman you work with's new attitude is the result of a spiritual attack cos of the prayers you have been interceeding on her behalf - Keep 'em up and don't let the Evil One have the victory! (Need to take me own advice, me tihnks!!? )

Have calmed down about missing the concert! Just thinking about all the study I got done yesterday and I wouldn't have done that if I'd been traipsing down to Wembley....I did see Wham! in concert when I was 12!!

RL - it may well be your prayers are having an effect! Hoping and praying this may be the case, and that God will give you an opening to reach out to her, or she to you... does she know you're going for ministry?

NSFN - praying your DD finds someone who can guide through the minefield she's in. Praying for strength for you also...

Had the report on DS from the Ed Psych. TBH its upset me. DH and I have asked for a meeting with the head over it. Suffice it to say the report is nothing like the feedback that I got at the time, nor does it accurately reflect what I told her at the time...

A bit better this morning - still no pain which is good, and temp down a lot. The prob is dh is away wirking till tomorow afternoon, so am gong to go back to bed when the nanny gets here.
