Ds is going to a teddybears picnic....

and I have to provide a bear that looks the part, what can I use????

Well we were told we had to dress the bear up as if it was going on a picnic!!

Do you have to have a costume ?

Last year we used his favorite bear, cut up some cardboard tubes, ds glued on bits of cotton wool, ribbon/card/feathers and paper sprinkles, squashed bears arms and legs in the decorated tubes

He won 1st prize as it was obviously done by him .. I swear some mums must have been up all night stiching together some of the creations

No not a costume, just make him look like he is going to a picnic!

Get a hanky, fill it with play food or scrunched up loo roll & tie it to a small stick like a bindle?

How do you dress for a picnic ??

Perhaps a jaunty mini bottle of champagne tied to one arm?

you could go for the english look .. smear in jam and cover in ants and crisp packets

and provide him with wellies, an umbrella and suncream!!
