Going to a party on Sunday for 2 boys turning 2, but am pretty skint ATM.
Any ideas for cheap and cheerful presents /something we can make at home for them ?

A dressing up bag / box with some old clothes and shoes you don't want any more.
Although tbh I'd just get a couple of bits from the pound shop.

Asda usually have 3 for 2 type deals on kids toys, with plenty of stuff for toddlers around the £5 mark. Get the 2 you need and one to spare. There will always be more parties!

Buy 2 books for £7 at asda. I bought Elmer and monkey puzzle by Julia Donaldson the other day.
One is for a 2 year old who's party is today. My nearly 2 year old loves Elmer, we read it twice a day!

Cardboard box (washing machine size) filled with lots of different coloured balloons- they get a big surprise when they see how big it is, then when they open it and then get loads of fun for weeks after playing in the box

I would go to the pound shop for a book and bubbles or a ball. Make your own card.

If you have the works anywhere near you can get great value for money from there. Sticker books etc.

Have a look for some books in a charity shop.
