am having a 'moving house nightmare'

we accepted low offer yesterday.

booked a load of viewings in midlands on sat.

today, agent rang to say our buyer is a silly bugger who has made an offer and been accepted on another house.

flucking time wasters.
he is going to decide by tonight which he is actually going to buy..

meanwhile I rang the second property's agents and gave them a heads up about what a knob this buyer is looking like [smug face] and to christian-ly give their poor sellers a warning about who we are all dealing with here......

VoodooApocalypse · 11/06/2009 12:44

dh thinks we should withdraw our acceptance of his stupid offer anyway.

argh.

sister got amnio on mon morning. will have the results by thurs [even in nhs]

and the womens' hospital she is using only has a 0.5% m/c rate, half the national average.

she has a 1/100 risk of downs. she's only 29 fgs!!

they are going to be able to tell her the sex from the results in 18 days, along with a full chromasone analysis for any other problem.

What a cruddy thing to do. (House buyer) I would be tempted to withdraw my acceptance too. If he does plumb for your house, who knows what he'll be doing down the line.

Macdog, when you were toddler group organiser topdog, did you get funding from anywhere other than contributions? Did you do a lot of fundraising, and were you subsidised by any organisation? Before you had the massive hike on the room hire how much were you paying?

Been up since 4. Very tired, but my room is too light. I need a blackout blind.

The Toddler group was a registered charity, funded mainly by daily subs.
When I was there we did a couple of fundraisers - the toddlers did a sponsored walk, raffles etc.

I honestly can't remember what we paid for the Hall. When I resigned from Toddlers I deleted all the info from my puter.

We were subsidised by the Community group that runs the Hall where we had the Group. We paid a yearly membership of £10 to the Hall.

Three were local authority grants available to us, but we didn't apply while I was in charge

We also were registered with www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ where a donation is made for online shopping (although I got an email through saying they are no longer registered with the site)

Thanks Macdog. I guess it's all very different in Scotland. I know BfN is a scottish charity for some reason. Do you have Sure start up there?

Report
Macdog · 12/06/2009 17:13

By the fact I had to Google search sure start, no we don't . Not sure what our equivalent would be

do you think 'Foxy knoxy' did it? did she kill meredith kercher in Italy when she wouldnt join in a sex game?

howabout that evil sick nanny. a female sexual predator/paedophile is very rare. feel so so sad for the families, the children are too young to explain, and the photos are not identifiable. horrid awful evil woman.
it was 95 families, that means over 95 children were abused. makes me cry.

Hey Voods, that's a lot of deep and meaningful for a friday night

Just been scrubbing out the bath. I'll spare you the gory details, but suffice to say that I now know that dd had sweetcorn at nursery !!!

Hope you find the house you want, Voods, x

Don't think it was 95 children. They weren't identifiable, so all children within the timescale had to be contacted. Even so it's sick. I don't want to think about it.

How exciting about house hunting. Good luck!

got these for £90 today from Tesco. The knackered old table is going at the bottom of the garden to make a den.
