Hiya, don't take it! Half the time doctor's arn't aware of when you should and shouldn't be taking a drug - if the leaflet says "shouldn't be taken with...." then it's up to you to look after yourself . Go back to the doctor, tell him what it says in the leaflet and try another brand. I used to take Microgynon but my surgery has withdrawn it for some reason that I can't remember. I'm taking Cilest now with no problems.

Hi Fast,

How're you feeling now? My ds cut his first tooth two weeks ago and last night he said, "quack quack" [grin}, I was so proud of him and he said it again this morning for his sisters and brother!

I can't sleeeep which is beginning to really really...suck! ... But I'm going to get out lots next week.... Your DS is sooo cute.. mine still has no teeth, he's 13 and a bit months! He's started repeating bits that I say though, usually when I'm angry and go 'what have you done?' he'll go...'done done' and 'DON'T do that' he'll grin and go 'don't don't' lol

Good! From my experience, I know that it's up to yourself to make sure you stay well - don't trust doctors - they have limited time to spend with patients - at one appointment my doctor didn't even bother to check my records he prescribed drugs that I'd had a very bad reaction to - good job I checked before I swalled them!

I know, it's very worrying. When I picked my dd prescription up and checked it - it was for another patient with the same name as my dd, same birthdate and obviously a different address - the receptionist hadn't bothered to check all the details - If I hadn't checked, my dd would have taken someone elses medication !.

Hope you get it all sorted soon!

p.s. Have you tried Magnesium OK supplements, I've suffered with depression and find that these supplements really work, as does taking Evening Primrose Oil

I was once prescribed amoxycillan which luckily I spotted before getting to the pharmacy, as Im allergic to it. So went back to the docs and asked for a different anti-biotic, so he prescribed erythromycin. When I got back to the pharmacy I recalled that erythromycin shouldnt be taken with certain anti-histamines (which he had also prescribed) so I mentioned it to the pharmacist and he agreed with me so ended up just getting the anti-b's and buying other ant-histamines over the counter as it just wasnt worth going back to GP. (It was for an insect bite that had become infected).

Also the other week I was prescribed appetite suppressants and when I looked up the contr-indications on the internet it said they shouldnt be taken if you experience palpitations/tachycardia or have heart probs (which I do).
