just wants to know what is should be like by now as my scar is still red but not that red when i first had op and still tender and bit numb - im just curious

ahhh - red as in red and angry or dark pink?

I think it'll always be a bit numb (and your tummy above it), mine looks like its been crayoned on now and it is 12 and 8.5 years old!

my friend had a C-Section nearly 1 year ago and still has some numb bits

if you're really curious am sure cld arrange for you to meet her and ask her/maybe even see her scar..she lives south l'pool

Mine was tender and numb for a very long time also. I honestly can't remember when it stopped feeling that way but now at 18 months later it's fine.

frigging hell - i think there's something wrong with mine now !

(a) my belly/overhang is much bigger
(b) scar is much wider
(c) looks most like 7 weeks post op after 8.5 years - aarghhh

LOL @ fast

biglips, i had c section n like you i was worried when a year later i still had numbness down there and if i remember rightly it was pink, matthew is now three years old and i can barely see it, ( although the one were i had my cyst removed that goes from my belly button down the the c section scar is pretty big n white)
