apart from the great men in green I LOVE the allblacks. But, like all irish supporters of any sport, we are eternally optimistic, and I totally believe we can do it - as long as they leave O Driscoll alone!!!

Was moved by the atmosphere and the beer :o

Although have to say even though I was bored by the first half, I did begin to join in the shouting as the second half drew to a close...oh god I'm turning into a fan..

Remember when AB lost their botle in the last World Cup (because they truly are the best in the world) is it true the whole country was in mourning and people had to go into therapy?

nicnack2 · 01/06/2006 21:25

yes. they are a fantastic team. Scotland is off to SA for two tests next week. Although they trashed the Baa-Baa i think next week will really show if they have improved under Frank Hadden.

We dont have sky or digital and I would love it just for the sports , especially rugby and I love a bit of tennis.

WE (the IRish) have done well this year - Ireland, Munster, Ulster - Im still optimistic about our success

Report
nicnack2 · 01/06/2006 21:38

it annoys me that the non world cup or 6 nations are on sky. although we have it i think if it was on terristrial like the majority of football matches are more people would fal in love with the sacred game. My DH who > is english thinks i am bonkers. he is not quite a rugby fan as me.

My DH is not a sports fan at all and just does not get my passion. During the 90's when Ireland were shite, we beat England away and I cried. I can still recall that moment... aaah and dont talk about this year - I would lOVE to have been at that match
