I answered Q18 that I have no children, Q19 then wouldn't accept a blank answer and forced me to tick a box to say how old my children are.

Also, discreet = careful and prudent in one's speech or actions, especially in order to keep something confidential or to avoid embarrassment. Discrete = individually separate and distinct.

Ok I'm a doctor and HBI as an abbreviation baffled me; I'm assuming it's heartburn and indigestion?

Survey isn't working for me. Pressing 'next' on page 3 sends me back to the start.

AIBU to be getting really pissed off with my neighbours dog?

First off, let me say I love dogs. Don’t own one currently but had them in the past and looking forward to getting my own next year. BUT my neighbours have a yappy dog that gets let out at 6am and wakes me up every single day. I sleep with my window closed, and on the odd occasion I’ve slept with earplugs to try and sleep through, it’s still woken me.

The dog only barks for 5 minutes or so but it’s continuous and daily and really starting to hack me off being woken up 1 hour before I need to. Especially when I’m off work and trying to sleep in. I never hear them telling it off or calling it back in.

I only moved in recently and haven’t gotten to know them properly yet. We’ve said hello and been introduced and they seem very nice, and I’m not keen on our first proper conversation to be me moaning about the dog.

Would you say something? If so, how?

Done.
Do we have to say that in order to be entered for the prize draw or is just completing the survey enough?

Help! Where in Perthshire for young families??

Hi everyone, first time poster. We are a family of 3 my
our dd is 17 mths and we live in Glasgow. My dh and I have decided we want to live somewhere semi-rural and have settled on Perthshire. Important things are as you would expect - good schools, low crime and deprivation, nice community and esp one that would be accepting and welcoming of incomers (im from glasgow and dh aberdeen). would like to be in a village or small town a few miles from a town and preferably 30/40 mins from a city. We have recently been to Blairgowrie and Alyth. Online ive been looking at Scone, Stanley, Crieff, Callander. Can anyone help me out and give me their thoughts and suggestions on the best place for a young family? Thanks all I feel like im looking for a needle in a haystack!

I would like that survey to include a "what do you actually take for heartburn/indigestion/reflux" box, since I don't use any of the patent remedies you mention.

(The answer is bicarbonate of soda dissolved in warm water, which works and is a lot cheaper, not to mention being something I have in the house anyway for all sorts of uses.)
