hello!!!
Im a childminder and im looking for a new double buggy, i saw this in another conversation, and have a few questions for anyone who has one...

  • does it fold up small? is it flat or umbrella fold?
  • how does it steer, is it light?
  • is there a basket underneath?
  • could i fit a buggy board? and do you think it would still be easy to push and steer if i did? the toddler that would use it is quite big!
I want it for my ds who will be four months when i use it, a one year old and a 3 year old. whadaya rekon? The price looks great, but i only have a tiny house, and need something thats going to be small to store, as i already have a big single pram pushchair that is ds's that i want to keep in here too. omg, im such a pushchair addict!!
    thanks!!

Umbrella fold
Not particularly light to steer, but not as heavy as a side by side umbrella or as awkward
the basket underneath is titchy
buggy board wouldn't be advisable

Probably not the best option for you, unless you make the 3 yo walk.

hth

Hi everyone, im thinking about getting a Marco sky for my 8 month old twins, but am unsure as the frint seat cannot recline and put off as so many people are getting rid of theirs, how suitable are they really???

Hi Bettyp - I have 7.5 month old twins! I have been interested in these since I was pregnant.

But I see a couple on ebay every week that have hardly been used... does that mean they are crap?

lockets my lovely the DTs are 17 months. 18 months on the 11th. Yes I do love and adore my Marco. The twins love it and DT1 always falls asleep in the front non reclining seat. She just turns herself round and curls up her feet. Gorgeous!

Can't believe you are selling it already. Are you sure that you don't want to wait a little? But then nemo may not forgive me if I dissuade you from selling.

Big kiss to the girls and a slap on the head for frogspawn.

Hello Marslady... whats the chances of you wanting to sell yours after xmas?!!

Report
MarsLady · 08/08/2005 08:44

It has a slight recline. It's enough for DT1. She's very comfy in it.

Hi Ixel! I'll give it some thought. Not sure that I want the DTs loose on their feet outside the house lol. Still, they will be almost 2 (gasp!).

I do love it though. So when after Christmas are you due?

Am due Feb 11th, so was thinking of doing a serious buggy hunt in the January sales. I need to leave it quite late so I know what ds is like by then in terms of what he'll sit in (and can fit in!). Thats why we moved a bit further away from you... so we could afford a house instead of a flat, and have enough room to justify getting pregnant again

Congratulations!

That's the DTs birthday! How exciting! I know what you mean about needing to move further.... but I just can't bring myself to. Are you still reasonably local?

lol ml your thinking of giving urs up when twins are 2, im buying it cos ds will be 2 and a nightmare with a newborn..pmsl

I'm an evil mother nemo. I kick them all out at 2 cos I can't be bothered with all that pushing. Of course with twins I may be tempted to keep them inside it until they start school, esp as Little Miss Houdini has been known to escape.
