SPARKLER1 Mon 28-Feb-05 10:20:11

Anyone else up for it?

amynnixmum Mon 28-Feb-05 10:41:33

OOoh. Only just seen this. Will definately try to come.

DelGirl Mon 28-Feb-05 10:43:08

hello Sparkler & Aynnixmum . I should hopefully be able to make it, all being well.

DelGirl Mon 28-Feb-05 10:44:11

Is it the brewers place sparkler on Holes bay road? Thats the only pub i've seen along there

amynnixmum Mon 28-Feb-05 10:44:55

Hi Delgirl - thought of anything you want us to get for you yet?. Hope you're feeling ok.

jodee Mon 28-Feb-05 11:14:10

Just seen this too (thanks for email, Bunny - what a surprise you suggesting a boozy night out ). Wed 9th March is OK with me.

Delgirl, hope you are OK??? I'm quite happy to do the driving this time (Delgirl/Bunny/anyone else near me), midweek is not a good drinking night for us poor souls having to put in an appearance at work the next day (learnt that the last time)!

SPARKLER1 Mon 28-Feb-05 11:57:22

Delgirl - no it's not the Brewer's Fayre. If you go to the end of the dual carriage way near the new Asda (as if you were driving towards the Quay) you will get to a big roundabout. The Rising Sun is on that roundabout.

Merlin Mon 28-Feb-05 12:15:47

Now I'm confused!!! Thought we were talking about Rising Sun in Xchurch!!! Looking forward to it if I'm able to walk without wincing by then - off to GP this afternoon - I'm in agony!!!!! moan, moan!

SPARKLER1 Mon 28-Feb-05 12:38:10

No Merlin - No. It's Poole. Have visions of other people trying to find us in the wrong place now. oh dear!

DelGirl Mon 28-Feb-05 15:07:10

Nope, still not sure where you mean Sparkler, sorry. If you go past the dolphin centre on the left and over the bridge/flyover (station on your right) to the roundabout there, where is it from there?

DelGirl Mon 28-Feb-05 15:07:36

Please

JanH Mon 28-Feb-05 15:13:55

Sparkler's Rising Sun map

(being nosey! sounds like a great evening )

JanH Mon 28-Feb-05 15:15:38

The arrow isn't pointing to a roundabout though????

DelGirl Mon 28-Feb-05 15:20:30

hi Jan . Thanks for the map, still not quite sure where it is though lol. Are you going to join us?????

DelGirl Mon 28-Feb-05 15:24:39

just had another look and there's a yellow arrow on the map, not all that clear, but at least I know where it is now lol. Sparkler, sorry to be dim, is it quite near that tiny car park just off the roundabout?

suzywong Mon 28-Feb-05 15:28:04

Delgirl, have you had that baby yet?

Hope you all have a good time, when I was going out with a lad form Broadstone in the 80s you were considered daringly exotic and reckless if you went for an Indian meal let alone Thai, glad things have changed

JanH Mon 28-Feb-05 15:28:59

Bit far for a night out...I'd love to otherwise!

How're you doing, DG? Not long now!
