Today I am having an FET.

We had 3 embryos, one survived defrosting and will be implanted around 3pm.

I am absolutely terrified this won't work. It's our last go after 3 failed ICSI attempts, and my last chance to become pregnant.

Please cross your fingers and pray for me. The next two weeks until I can test are going to be the hardest of my life.

Wishing you all the very very best delilah - I remember that feeling so well Sad. Our first two IVfs ended in m/c and then our 3rd resulted in the creation of only one embryo - I remember thinking what a huge pressure, this was it, our last chance . . .

Our single embryo started pre-school last week Smile.

Good luck x

Thanks StitchingMoss

The FET went very smoothly. The embryologist told us it had continued to develop in the lap, and that the Assisted Hatching procedure was textbook.

So now for the 2WW - test date is 28/9/11

Now try and take it easy - far far easier said than done, I know Blush.

Wish you all the luck in the world x

Thank you both. Am feeling v chilled at the moment. I'm going to have an early night tonight, and try not to wish too much of my life away over the next two weeks.

1 day post transfer.

Well, I am trying to remain unstressed and not to think too much. I am finding it hard at the moment not to just wish the next two weeks away.

I am trying to enjoy the process. Right now I AM pregnant, and WILL remain that way. Thank god for work. We have an event tonight so I will be busy until 9pm, at least it makes the time go faster.

I'm making sure I am drinking lots of water, take my vitamins, and am also on one baby aspirin a day on my consultants advice.

Still keeping my fingers crossed, please please do the same if you read this.

Keeping fingers and toes crossed for you delilah. I also took the aspirin - and I had a glass of pineapple juice and a handful of brazil nuts each day! Smile

Don't do that without checking with your clinic though as advice changes all the time and my last IVF cycle was four years ago!

2 days post transfer

Busy busy at work today - at least it makes time go by fast. I have a quiet weekend planned, with maybe a cinema visit.

Had a few spots of brown- red mucus. I'm guessing this is from cervical trauma when the transfer was done, as it's much too early for an implantation bleed.

Symptoms - well I'm tired, but it is the end of the week. I've had a few almost electric stabbing pains yesterday afternoon, but nothing today. That's it. No sore boobs, and I normally get the straight after OV, but then I'm taking vitamins which I wouldn't normally be doing, so maybe that's why they don't hurt.

I seem to remember I had the embryo frozen on day 3, so now I am hopefully equivalent to 5dpo. Earliest testing could then be next Friday at 12dpo equivalent. I don't have any tests in the house though, will be buying some a week tomorrow and testing on the 25th at the earliest. Official test date is the 28th.

3 days post transfer.

Well, other than sleeping really well last night I have no further symptoms to report. The house is a bit of a mess, but I am going to leave it for DH to sort out, I need to take it easy Grin Bless him, he bought me a cup of tea in bed first thing, and keeps asking if I need anything - I didn't drink the tea as I'm avoiding caffeine, but it's the thought that counts right?

My sister is over after lunch, and we are going to watch the Inbetweeners. I imagine after that her and DH will get drunk, whilst I look on with some feelings of envy. Virtual Wine will have to do.

In a weird way time is going both slowly and fast. Each individual moment drags, but I can't believe it was 3 days ago I had the transfer. Still keeping everything crossed, wishing, hoping and praying this works.

4 days post transfer

A very lazy day for me today - catching up on my iplayer viewing and that's about it.

Not really any new symptoms. I've had some brownish tinged CM this morning (sorry for the TMI!) and have a slight ache in the cervix area. But I'm not sure I would have noticed if I wasn't thinking about it.

Caved and ordered some cheap peesticks off Amazon last night. They could be here by Tuesday...!

5 days post transfer

Yesterday turned into a VERY lazy day. Nap from 1-3pm, walk round the village, then bed at ten. I had pretty vivid dreams though, and was up at quarter to 4 needing the. Entirely unsure if the are symptoms or not.

This morning my positivity is going. I still have v v v mild ache in the groin/cervix but to be honest it doesn't feel high enough to be in my uterus. Had to force myself to eat breakfast as it wasn't hugely appetising, and DH is making me a packed lunch for the same reason, but it could all be in my head.

Anyway... If I go with a day 3 transfer (unsure how freezing/defrosting/etc would affect the count) plus 5 days post transfer, I am possibly 8dpo equivalent today! Have a busy week at work then friends over for dinner Saturday, so the time until testing will hopefully fly.

Thanks for all the messages of support, more random wittering tomorrow.

Well the wait continues! Symptoms still mostly non existent. I would normally have sore boobs by this stage of my cycle, but nada. Skin seems better than normal too. Had crampy aches in groin/cervix area on and off yesterday, and vivid dreams last night.

Ideally I'd like something more concrete like morning sickness, although I'm well aware it's too early.

Snapped at DH when he tried to cuddle me this morning, then felt guilty for taking my stress out on him. But the last thing anyone needs is a blast of morning breath on awakening, and to be semi smothered by the duvet!

Email yesterday from amazon saying my tests have been dispatched. I only (!) ordered 5. I am hoping they don't arrive today, because I wouldn't be able to stop myself testing tomorrow even though it's stupidly early!

Thanks again for the messages of support, please go on with th positive thoughts for me :)
