i've got new windows and have left it too late to remove the stickers which have left glue on the glass. i've tried WD40 and vinegar. any other suggestions?

Also, while i'm on, the cack handed plasterer has managed to get plaster on every window frame, skirting board and even on teh hallway floor (laminate)when there was no need to be out there!!! Any ideas for getting it off????

thanks for your help

Lakeland do a sticky stuff remover that could help with your windows.

Plaster - no idea I'm afraid. Am sure that someone else will be along in a minute with the solution.

wd40 works but you have to keep at it, if you left it for ages it will take ages to get off

thanks. I just ended up smearing the glue all over the rest of the window with the WD40 - what should I be doing?

Surgical spirit works too, we used to use that in a shop I worked in once. Smells a lot though!

i'm sure on how clean is your house that they smeared it in hellmans mayonnaise and it was like a miracle!

Keep trying with the WD40 and some kitcken roll. It takes a little while but will come off. Spray the glue directly.

The plaster should come off with a rough cloth and plain water. The kitchen scourers with foam then green rough stuff are good.
