Morning (I can't say good)
Swan What's up? have you got a free day?
Thank you for getting me on the right thread. Thank you for suggestions too!
Mad I feel for you.I've had this stinking cold for a week. I'm completely blocked up and feel almost hangover and I haven't had a drink! I hate work (I know, I know you've heard it before) I need to get off my butt and get stuff done. Help!h
I'm showered and dressed. Ds has had breakfast now & getting dressed himself
My mouth tastes like a mouse has died in it!
We are off to the dentist now and visiting DH at work and show off Ds to the school.
Not very much time after the visit to get things do but I'll have a go
Fill machine
Make ds's bed.
Throw clothes in dryer.
make tea
AND Sort out clean clothes still sitting in a basket in the bedroom
Have a nice day, everyone. [smile

So far

Taken six dcs to school as 3 extra from 8.00 (a favour)
They all played extremely nicely, and no moods from mine, must try this more often...

Cleared breakfast
s & s vaguely
fed cat (clutching at straws here)
supervised homework last bit and bit of improvised violin - ds1 is now transposing everything for his own amusement
found swimming bag for ds1 and snack
got dressed and showered FIRST THING
waterbottles

Now have mislaid control diary
but I know I have to do the following

return the hoover to Argos..v.annoying been putting this off and hopefully get a new one in exchange (this could take all morning)
fill in a Scouts Disclosure form
make watercress soup
make rice pudding
return library book (different direction from hoover)
find rufflette tape to restart my curtains from four years ago (attention any unfinished projects - I'm on the arts and crafts page)

IRONING

Make something with room temp eggs (lemon cake?
Read book for book club (The Road Hme)

Hi Lovebeing.

Last day at home with ds today. It has been a strange week, I feel very cooped up, but have enjoyed having some time alone with ds over the last few days. This morning we have made scones. Now he is watching Star Wars again, but wants me to stay out of the LR as he is acting it out and doesn't want me to see him lol.

To do:
ironing

Tomorrow/weekend

DS to planetarium at hancock Museum.

Quick Grouchy Wave to ALL

DS is off sick and DH arranged to work from home DS has a mild chest infection and will be back at school on Monday

Took him to the GP, swung by the chemist's (who always take forever ) Did a bit of shopping (bird food and checking the cheap shops) then to ALDI. DS a PITA throughout, told him I wasn't friends with him anymore then delivered him to DH and went to work.

SDone very little since DH and DS are going to Rugby magtch so I'll do the weekend housework while they're out

Hope you've had good days

epimum hugs to you and your DD.
Swan your on a roll
galen Inanimate objects can drive you nuts and wreck a timetable! It's so annoying when all you've got to show for a day's hard work is one thing.
dylsmum What do you mean you've done nothing, you've do hell of a lot better than me today. You are so hard working.
Dentist said Ds had good dental hygiene Yippe! Took some stuff to the charity shop.
Took ds to DH's school and he loved it cried when we left! Even the ASBO boys were nice to him Would older children be better behaved if little children were around them? Food for thought!
Pop into work
Having a cuppa and attacking the washing!

It is that fidgety age isn't it Grouchy?
For some reason, my boys just do not enjoy shopping [sob] except possibly for cmpter games or dvds.
Ds2 is really being very irritating at moment like some radio transmitter which keeps emitting simple beeps in the form of "smellypants" to his b & s.

Now they are watching HH, I have lugged FOUR PE kits home (don't ask)with aforementioned irritating child in tow, and am going to read my book for 10 mins at least.

Hope you survived Galen
Scatty, Star Wars is the new smash hit here. Ds2 adores it.
TMH, hope Soft Play does the trick
LovingBeing, glad your parents are so near
Starbear, hope you survived too
Epimum, hope furniture moving went well, and your dd is feeling a bit better, and enjoying painting (if you are still doing that). And the snake cage is wonderfully refreshed!

Starbear you are so right about foul teenagers being sweet to little ones, it is really noticeable - I think it sort of restores their selfrespect to be looked up to.

star will rephrase my flat looks like i have done nothing in it today mainly cos i am very good at going out to avoid it
think you are very right about older children/teens being good with smaller children. montessori (i think it was) had the right idea with mixing the ages of children in her childcare centre as they benefit from each other
prof enjoy dinner out
