Done my morning routines and I've been digging out my tax info for the tax credit peeps. I'm off downtown for a potter now

That's 2 in one week!!!!

Any more & they'll get four or five toys I pick out in the morning between them & the lid will stay firmly on the toy box

I have flapjacks in the oven, have s&s'd bathroom & kitchen. Just about to dust around the kids I think & hoover the stairs. After that . . . I don't know

Repair man came out last night....it appears the washing machine will cost nearly as much to repair as it cost us in the first place

DH has decided to dig into his overdraught a little deeper and buy me a new one. I'm delighted but also feeling very guilty...don't know why...probably because I have ranted about being washing machineless until he can't take it any longer!
He ordered a brand new Zanussi....has a bigger drum (6kg as a pose to our other one which was only 5kg) Comes with a 12 month warantee and will be delivered soon I hope. DH is going to sort out delivery dates today.
I am truly sick of the sight of the bloomin things! We now have a washing machine graveyard in our back garden!

Have the kids all at home still....they are on the mend now though.

I think while they are all here they can help me tidy their room!

Afternoon everyone

Had a lovely morning! dp got up with ds this morning so i had a lie in till 9am ! havent had a lie in for ages and also realised that I havent had a night of unbroken sleep for 7 months, no wonder I'm tired all the time! DD still BF during the night but DS was sleeping through at this age but was on formula, maybe that makes a difference. Also DS was on solids at 4 months ( yes I know!) and loved them while DD doesnt seem to be bothered at all and some days only has BF's.
Anyway DP has taken DS to the park...at 9am and they're still not back!
So the gals have had a quiet time. Not much done, a bit of ironing, sorted d/w...thats about it.

I think I'll have a quick tidy round whilst watching the end of loose women.

Have managed to clear my bedside table completely and all of the visible bits of DHs (he can do the drawer). Did dressing table yesterday and the clothes recently so apart from all of our CDs that is our main bedrooom sorted now. Might by some new CD storage over the weekend for the last bit.

Hey Ruby Hoarding rubbish does make you feel really secure doesn't in? There must be a pyschology paper on our inherient squirrellike tendancies.

Been down town to sort some bank stuff out, get extra pack up stuff and trawl my fave shops (charity ones ) Very fruitful trawl as I got one of those lovely pine towel rails for the bedroom for £3 As DH chucks his 'not for washing' clothes on the bedroom chair that's another hotspot extinguished.

Suppose I better do something truly constructive with my last 45 mins

just cleared out the cat cupboard, have thrown away all his old toys and blankets etc, packed cat food up for my mum, all thats left is a cute hide and seek toy thing that we never got round to using (tigger was blind)its too good to throw away so anyone with a kitten is welcome to it!
Going sort through some photos and put one in a frame for ds1 room.
Sorry for ramble just felt a bit sad but need to let go now

Well I have thoroughly cleaned all the bits and added them on to e-bay - It always takes longer than I think it will

I have also washed the mats and put new ones out

Tigger We have snowey (the brother to our cat - smudge) in a box under our bed. He died 2 days before we relocated back North and we had him cremated.

We still havent decided where to pop him yet, we wanted him to be with smudge.
