DH car is in to be repaired - so I am picking him up
We are then off to the bank to sort the mortgage out - mum was supposed to be having the boys, will poke head in and see if she is up if not they will be with us
Drop DH back home (working from home today)
Me and boys to playgroup
Back for lunch
DS1s first day back at preschool
this afternoon

Start zone clean
change DS1s bed
whats for dinner
collect scrip from chemists

So busy day for me, not helped by DS1 being up through the night again and me and DH falling out this morning.

Thanks for the thread TMH

Morning Jas Lucys and Bianca

DONE

UP and Washed
Down to make porridge
Empty DW
Put away
Have Breakfast
Tidy away
Up to Wash Ed
S&S Loo
S&S Bathroom
Nit Repellant for Ed
Get him dressed (Like pulling teeth)
Bags ready
Walk him to school

Home, Find 2 blokes knocking the porch down I am having it replaced. I've been wanting to have it done for ages and under the current economic downturn I'd rather my meagre savings got spent on something tangible rather than being wasted IYKWIM.

Very little to do here now. I blitzed it all yesterday. Might make some cookies, might not.

Hope you're having a good day

Morning! Loving my clean sink in a morning!

Am just going to step class, but then will return and do the kitchen. There is a disgusting greasy expel air fan in my kitchen... think I need a professional to deal with it but inspired by FLY I'm going to have a go! Also, I'm looking forward to tackling the coat rack, there's loads that could go to charity.

Hello again,

Still done nothing yet apart from brekky for four and wash the pots! Feel a bit like I'm ignoring my little girl as my mate's son wants to build stuff with me all the time But I'm managing to cope with 2 for the mo, which is a relief!

Ruby, I'm in for xmas countdown for sure!

Have decided we're having xmas lunch here & any visitors before 12 ish so we have the day to relax.

tigger santa express is a good idea, my lo would enjoy something like that. Is there a website I could have a look at?

I'm back. I got half way to tescos after work, before I realised I didn't have my purse with me so now I will have to go out again in a bit.

Just hung out the washing and put next load onI'm going to make sure my morning routine is done, then go back to shops.

GO - A parcel arrived while I was out, so I'm guessing it is from you. I'll pick it up tomorrow when I've got the car on the road

Understanding and sympathies to those with annoying DH/DPs...Mind you I used to say to DH 'No wonder your second hand' (Mrs GO #2 me)but if fails to work after 5 years of marriage.

Just bought this to put all the stuff that cluttered the porch up in

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie and on day 4 of babysteps. I feel I've been thrown a lifeline! My sink is shiny and I feel good.
Washing on
Bathroom quickly cleaned
Piles and piles of clean clothes finally put away!
Just writing out my sticky notes to myself.
It's all good. Hope I don't run out of momentum.

If you are on babysteps - should you be trying to do the mission as well?

Report
grouchyoscar · 08/09/2008 12:01

Laura Just do what you want TBH. If you feel up for it fair enough. If you don't don't worry

Welcome by the way

Laura - the way I understood starting off with Fly lady was that doing anything in the house was better than doing nothing.. even if you just have 5 minutes it is better to start something.
Hope that helps
I have been flying for along time and still fall off the wagon from time to time..

Report
grouchyoscar · 08/09/2008 12:16

I've always approached FLY as what I have done rather than what I should do. I always feel I have acheived something rather than done nothing

Report
laurasmiles · 08/09/2008 12:24

Thanks - I can see how doing one thing leads to another. It's just so nice to be told to start off slowly - it really takes the pressure of and then suddenly you find energy to do it! Nice to hear so many of you have been doing it for a long time. Do you feel you've made some serious changes? I would love to not feel the CHAOS factor. That might make it easier to met people as I'd have somewhere to invite them back to - certainly not right now though!!

Good morning all. I'm back

I started babysteps in July, and then the school holidays arrived so I crashed out. However, I'm hoping to get going again now. It's good to see some other
newbies/babysteppers around, as I do find some of the longer lists/great achievements of mature flyers quite scary!
