Deodorant marks

Hobnob76 · 02/08/2008 20:56

How can I get rid of marks left my deodorant under the arm of my tops ? It's gone kind of crispy! Some of my tops are fairly new and I don't want to keep having to replace them.

Thanks

IMo you need to change deodorant....I had this problem for years and after trial and error of various products, settled on Mitchum. This not only leaves no marks, it is also very very effective!

Dozymare - this IS the deodorant I use, I've tried the roll on and the stick version and both do it. But its the best deodorant for me iyswim!

Apparently if you rub a solution of bicarb of soda + water (not sure how much) into the stains, or better still soak the clothing in a solution of bicarb and water, it should do the trick.

MrsTH - thank you, I'll have a go with it and see if it works.

Ah maybe this is where I'm going wrong! I'll have a go at letting it dry before I put clothes on!

It is fabulous as a BO basher, BUT takes about 5 mins to dry properly......I always pout it on then get on with make up.....definately works for me!

Dozymare - thank you so much! Sounds so simple that I can't believe I haven't been doing it! Have been getting dressed first then putting deodorant on under t-shirt
