Good morning

Very pleased to say that I'm feeling almost back to normal this morning
Managed to feel well enough to go out to a party with dh last night which was great fun, really pleased the worst of the bug had cleared in time. Very empty stomach so steered clear of alcohol but had fun anyway
Typically woken up at the crack of dawn by the kids this morning (and poor dh had to get up for work early too ) so feeling a bit groggy.

No work for me today (tomorrow instead) so need to get some FLYing done - the place has been neglected over the past few days. Will have a cuppa and come back with a list.

I have a fair amount to do today, and I have to go food shopping too.

I ordered a new tumble dryer last night YIPPEE! That will be arriving some time next week...worryingly they were not specific so I have no idea which day it will be

That'll do I think - going to get on...FLYing has meant that things never build up quite as much as they used to - I was suprised by how frustrated I felt to be going out last night without leaving the place looking as straight as I like it these days, and then couldn't be bothered to put things straight before bed. The evening routine has become an important part of the day that I really notice the difference when I don't do it. Thanks FLYers

Morning shouldbe and ludaloo. I have done a load of washing and drying already and am drinking my weekend coffee (decaf). I make a proper pot to enjoy at the weekends . I have opened and sorted my post and am now relaxing on the internet! Today I will:

Hoover upstairs
Clean bathroom
One hour with trainer
Take kids out
DO my feet - nail polish and foot spa
Plan mneus for next week
Finish dining room
Clean fridge

HI everyone. ludaloo I was relaxed until my X turned up. Cant say anything much about it on here because he stalks me on here and then reports anything I say to court but had to get the police involved again and it is so infuriating.

As a result havent got much done yet but am taking the kids out to calm them all down and we will have a nice day.

By the way flyers can anyone tell me how to get glassware sparkly again? It used to be fine in the dishwasher but as time has gone on with hand washing it has got murky.

I have no idea about the glasses...my only tip might be to put half a lemon in your d/w and put it on a fairly warm wash cycle. The lemon gets everything squeaky clean!

Well I have now been shopping and put the food away. Next step is to get tidying up!

hello again. Have made a little progress since last time but not a lot. Nice supper is cooking for the whole family to eat together - smells yummy and having the oven on has warmed up the kitchen a treat

luda It's not just me, then! Remind me to mention to you when I see you, someone who I now know who you might well know.

My day has been okay though I had to take ds to a football away match and that was 4 hours gone from my morning. They did win, though, and ds scored 2 of the goals.

We have now got the new bed in dd's room and she is happy with it. The space that was created in the spare bedroom has meant that the new computer desk (£12 in Ikea) has been put together and the PC on it so that's the dining room emptier. We've written out a couple more ads for the local paper to get rid of some more things which will create more space, so it's coming along. We've got a busy day ahead tomorrow. See you then.

tort yes you are lucky, I have got to know my local police pretty well over the last 18 months and they have always been very supportive. Thanks luda we are all ok and had a nice day anyway.

Not much flying done today although bathroom clean and tidy and washing up done and some washing and drying. Did manage a 45 minute jog/walk though as well which cleared all the morning nonsense out of my head.

Hello all.

Feels like ages since I was last here! Anyway, I've now changed jobs to work mornings only, so I can fit in uni and housework so I should be around a bit more often!

Anyway, as I have had a few days off, DH and I decided to have a massive clear out. Now everywhere barring the living room and the kitchen is clean and tidy, and space has been created so I'm really happy.
I won't bore you with the list, its really long tbh!

morning everyone! well yesterday was hectic, did shopping took some stuff back, etc etc and managed to get the place hoovered and kitchen cleaned.

now the kitchen is a big mess coz dd and ds have got this horrible cold thats going round! i havnt had a chance to do the washing up. last night dd had a temp of 41 and now its 38 (so still not brill) and ds has now got a temp too of 38! argh, cant wait till they'r better!

managed to get washing on so thats a good thing but wont be doing much till dcs are better!

Feel really rather bad. Got a very disturbed night's sleep (cheers DS) and things are catching up with me health wise. DS has been kind enough to share his snotty cold with me. Oh and like an idiot I let DH have a lie in this morning.

I think I've earned the right to get back into bed! Hopefully a long nap will have me feeling better by this evening.
