My old Bosch washing machine has died on me but it's served me well in the 7-8 years I've had it!

Going today to get a new one I'm thinking of getting the Samsung eco bubble as you get a 5 year warranty with it or sticking with Bosch anybody had a Samsung?

Not had the Samsung although I was tempted by the 5 yr warranty when I thought my beloved Bosch had died. Having said that, not only did my reliable old workhorse recover, Which? Recommend Bosch & Miele for almost all appliances, so as & when I do have to get a new one, I will go for another Bosch (unless a lottery win lets me buy a Miele)

I can't afford the Miele Sad
I loved my Bosch too but it's not got the best reviews and my friend just got one and it ripped all her clothes after something popped out the seal
Dh thinks we should just get another Bosch
How is it so hard to pick a machine Confused

Hi, I have some info provided by Which magazine (I'll be needing a new wm shortly!) The top 3 are all Samsungs, top of the list is the Samsung WW80j6410cw. (around £550) (a Meile comes 7th). The Zanussi zw91283w is 4th and is only £290.

Bosh 100%, get the biggest capacity you can afford.

And get the fastest spin possible. Makes a huge difference to drying time. Partic for towels.

For me, capacity and the all important child safe button are my tick boxes. And an effective fast wash. Mine does in 24 minutes. Lifesaver. Its a hotpoint ultima 6kg and came with the house exactly 10 years ago. I have dc 6 and 2.8 so it has seen action and then some!!

I've went for the Samsung it's 7kg 1400 spin tbh it was the 5 year warranty that done it for me as when I asked the lady in shop she recommended either Samsung or LG but they were a bit pricey
