I been awake since 4am, can't swollow, throat so swollen I cannot even look down, and I ache so much.............head to toe.

and I have a raging temp of 39.9 but am shivering as tho it is icy cold!!!

DH has had to go to work too, so feel extra rough as the boys are live-wires today (when are they never live-wires).

I don;t do poorly well......

This is not a good time to tell you, that I feeling poorly also, but I am in bed with a hot water bottle, the lap top, and DH has gone out to get me the papers and a croissant.

LGJ retreats under the covers.~~~~~~~for her own safety.

Bree....I will allow you your pampering, seeing as you are also ill and also been up since four........just this once mind!!

and sympathies also for your poorlyness....what is wrong with you???

I am in bed at the moment tho I have to say....the boys are far too loud so I have bribed them, asked them sweetly to be good and then daddy will come home early and take them out to play later ((he will, he must, I have told them now))!

wats.........does it really help??? I am pathetic with gargling.....make too much mess as am convinced I will drown.

Big big hugs, Tonsilitis is truely rotten. I once missed a long awaited gig because of it. Would have thought I'd have made it come hell or high water but it really is a horrid infection. Lots of love. It will be gone soon.

thankyou lenny.

am on panadol and condeine right now......tis not helping much tho

tried annadin extra yesterday with asprin and caffiene in.............took some of the pain away (altho yesterday I was not that bad.....I still managed to swollow and eat....unlike now when I am trying my damndest not to even swollow)........not sure if it was the caffeine or asprin but I felt most strange and twitchy once they started working.....so DH went and got me panadol and as I still have codeine left from my car accident I figured they might help too (and they are teeny so slightly easier to take!)

Put it this way, I am having no problems using the bathroom. I think it is a stomach thing as every so often I get an overwhelming feeling of hunger, but it only takes a few mouthfuls of water for it to go away.

I also have a cold/allergy thing in one nostril which alternates between blocked and streaming. I am also constantly sneezing.

So all, in all I am feeling a bit miserable.

Still I booked my parents flights yesterday for them to come to us for Christmas, so may indulge myself by doing some Christmas planning.

I can do it in the safety of the bedroom because if DH catches me, he will say...but but but, we haven't even had our holidays yet.

Send her with a note. It isn't as if they don't know you.

We have both had very convenient illnesses with the book haven't we? My stomach ache was completely genuine but couldn't have come at a better time.

I should be swiping The Host tomorrow - another one by SM

Scabbed and non-spotty.

Tadgh is non-spotty too. I guess we'll see in a fortnight for sure if she has freaky immunity.

PIL bought a caravan A tow job afaik, but it might mean that they actually come and visit occasionally.

Ooh and you should see my skirting boards in the kitchen - gleaming I tell ya! As gleaming as matt can be iyswim. We're doing upstairs today. You will have until Thursday to be able to visit my house After that you will need the antihistamines.

Tummy ache is fine again, and I had caffeine all yesterday I have no idea what is going on with it.
