Sounds like he has a weakened muscle at the to of his stomach, made worse by a big meal or alcohol. Tell him to eat small meals, drink less beer and sleep with a lot of pillows propping him up. He can also buy Ranitidine over the counter, which really helps me.

Does he have problems swallowing sometimes? My friend had that and ended up getting something done to her stomach and esophagus.

cod, hes not pg is he?

lol

i think its an ulcer, or a blockage between the stomach and mouth (which could be an ulcer)

how long has this been going on for?

Report
gingerbear · 11/01/2005 11:46

looks like he needs to join your regime Cod!!

Report
Tiggiwinkle · 11/01/2005 11:47

If these synptoms continue he really should insist on them being investigated. They can be due to something trivial but can also be very serious.Certainly not "mid-life crisis"!
