I keep feeling dizzy as the pressure keeps moving around.

It is uncomfortable more than painful but the pressure is worse when leaning forwards.
Do i need to see a doctor if it is sinusitis?

cant u get one of those nasal strips "Breathe Right"? As may take the pressure off your nose (sinuses)..

yes go and get it checked just incase it might be an infection

Try holding a hot flannel on your face where its tender. It always seems to 'loosen' it up for me.

big big big piles of sympathy

i empathise completely

[mine's a long story...and i won't go there!

do go to gp....try to avoid over the counter nasal decongestants...as they make it worse longterm

hope it clears up soon

sudafed works everytime with as does olbas oil

plus i get bad attacks when it gets humid/stormy due to the air pressure

Report
ZoMbIeTaLcY · 02/09/2007 23:11

...sudafed was such a relief especially at night time

but i ended up literally taking it all the time...the gp and pharmacist said it caused more congerstion!

antibiotics helped...and prednisilone steroids...but they were awful

hopefully for you it's a one off that needs antibiotics......

Thanks ,do you just sniff the olbas oil? or do a steam inhale?

...massage helps too, around the sinuses,,,,,also steam baths with olbas oil or vicks

Do go to the GP but for relief in the meantime inhale some steam (lean over bowl of very hot water with a towel over your head.) Works even better if you have any menthol crystals to disoolve in the water!

Ouch poor you
I do recall a long time ago having antibiotics for my sinuses and they have always niggled a bit .

I wonder if they will allow me a triple appointment to work through my ill list?
