There isn't a book to go with the series is there??? How unusual!

Only joking - I like Jamies' books - I shall look out for it

tbh, bundle, it's not just JO - all cooks do a book to go with any tv series, I suspect.

are the recipes quick n easy?

what's in it? i assumed all pass it on recipes on website as that's kind of the point isn't it?

but maybe i'm being optimistic. quite fancied the stir fry they did last night.

On his website, there's a recipes section, which says that the following recipes are similar to the ones featured in my upcoming Ministry of Food cookbook (similar to?)

yesss jackie, but people often talk about him like he's some kind of saint. which he's not

True, bundle (sorry - my comment to you sounded a bit harsh, and it wasn't meant that way: I think I actually meant to type 'to be fair', but it came out as tbh, because my fingers just took over).

jackie

i agree, the book is prob part of the deal their agents do
i wonder if jamie is donating the proceeds of his to setting up the ministries of food/training courses? (like i think he did with Fifteen)

my favourite cookery books atm are sarah raven's garden cookbook and tamasin day lewis' kitchen bible - neither v tv-ish

also bought ottolenghi - must try something

he is clearly a workaholic and ruthless in his pursuit of success (and money) but i think he is genuine in his desire to change things for the better. what are other chefs doing? (tho hugh f-w has a conscience i think)
so too complicated and irritating to be a saint - tho i quite like him for that.
and suspect most saints pretty annoying to be around...

Oh LOVE Sarah Raven....When I'm staring at my veg box in dismay I reach for her for inspiration! Kale and Chickpea curry anyone??
