Ooh - eggs benedict - bacon, poached egg and hollandaise sauce on toasted muffin. Or eggs florentine where you use wilted spinach in place of the bacon. Just gorgeous.

lol at the thought of putting a spread of 6 muffins toasted with marmite out and seeing what they made of that?

Habbibu - my fav but no spinach in - I might have to make juju egg & bacon mcmuffins in the morning then?

I'd post them out but they'll be past their sell by date sorry! Think I'll get kids up early and force them to polish them off for breakfast before we catch 8 o'clock bus

Sounds good, I seem to have fussy kids because my 3 yo will not eat eggs and screws her face up saying yuk and my 6 yo will only eat boiled eggs!? tut, tut
I, on the other hand could manage loads but I'm in my first week of Slimming World that's why I wanted to use them up on the kids

My dc love them...

I toast them lightly, butter them, put a slice of nice ham on one half, cover with a few slices of nice cheese, put under the grill for a minute or two, then take out and put other half on top.

Yummy...

Butter and marmite, as effie suggested (I second that mmm). I also love them with phildelphia cheese on, toasted first so they're warm and the cheese melts a bit. They freeze fine too, and toast from frozen - I often keep a pack in the freezer and help myself (doesn't last long though!)

If you're going to freeze them cut them in half first otherwise it's really really tricky!!! Many a time I have almost lost a finger trying to carve a frozen muffin

Toast them, and put eggs and bacon in the middle.

Actually, give them to me, I'll do it - save you the effort

Oh, heartily suspect they are gone by now as this is yesterday's post.

Can you buy some more and we'll do the whole post again, so I can drool a bit more?

Hi I didn't get chance to come on yesterday - I did toast half in the morning and sin of sin's i ended up wasting the rest in the end because today was so hectic. So much for my meal planning and trying to make the most of what's in the cupboard. Thanks anyway for all the suggestions.
