yep as a sandwich filler, especially nice in pitta bread with lots of salad.

It is traditionally eaten out of a bowl with proper pita bread to scoop it up.

In a pitta bread with tomatoes, cucumber and red onion and (this is the good bit) a dribble of balsamic.

On toast with chopped sun dried tomatoes.

Our local lebanese serves it topped with fried minced lamb and toasted pine nuts. You eat it with flatbread, its heaven.
