How long has it been there? If its just overnight, it will be nicely chilled for dinner time.

thaw and open
might be ok to drink.
If not, fine for cooking (use in chicken casserole, risotto or with fish)

I would give it a try. If it is over 3 months I would give it a good sniff and taste before using it in anything.

Oh I have done this with white wine - in the freezer to chill and then forget. I am guessing op opened a bottle of red, and forgetting first bottle. Thats' what I do.

Is it too early yet for the barrrrrrrrrr?

It'll be fine for cooking with (if frozen for less than 3 months) for definite.

Not sure what it will taste like to drink.

Thanks all, we have tasted it and dh said 'it's a bit acidey but maybe it was like that to start with!!!'
I will give it a try later (a bit early for me) if not it will go in the cooking.
Hattie2 wotzsaname is exactly right it is a nice NZ sauvignon, wanted it really crispily chilled for a nice drink outside, kids were bathed, dinner was on, dh on way home from work just perfect conditions for sitting outside in the evining!! Then dh came through the door and ruined my plan!!
