Placemarking. I had an amazing one but lost it a couple of years ago.

Not quite banana bread but these banana and blueberry muffins come out perfect every time. Be careful not to overmix though!

Ooh thank you all! I might try adding blueberries to those recipes now after those muffin suggestions

My go to banana bread, that has people asking for the recipe, came from here.
2 bananas, 2 eggs, 4 Oz butter, 6oz sugar, 8 Oz flour.

This is my favourite banana bread recipe and I've tried a LOT of them! I find the spices make it really tasty and it has more of a bread-y texture than many recipes which are more like a cake. Having said that, it's very sweet, but I like nothing better than a slice of it buttered with a cup of tea.

2 bananas
50 g butter
75 g plain flour
25 g sugar (or replace with maple syrup)
1 egg
half tsp bicarb soda
half tsp baking powder
1 heaped tablespoon greek yoghurt

usually add choc chips to satisfy DD but sometimes do with blueberries instead. makes a small (1lb) loaf

bake for 40-50 mins on gas mark 3
