Hi
My husband has just text me (I'm at work) saying that he is depressed. I had suspected this for some time. He is in pain from something unknown - under the hospital for investigation and it has affected him for the last 3 years. Apart from being generally supportive I'm not sure what to do. He is going to try to make himself feel better before going to the doctor about this. His department at work has also just been made redundant. His job will be saved as he will be moved elsewhere (this has definitely contributed as I saw him go downhill big time - he feels guilty and tried hard to save the team - even working from home). We've spoken about these underlying causes but I just don't know what to do really and I want to do more than just make the right noises.
His sex drive has really plummeted which has driven a bit of a wedge between us but I'm trying very hard not take that personally as I know its not his fault.
