Feeling down without tablets

Hi everyone, I have been on fluoxetine since last September, had the dose increased and now I've realised they just aren't working.

Spoke to my doctor last week, I have had to cut my dose down, and now all this week I have to go without any meds.

From Saturday I will be starting Sertraline. Can anyone give me some advice about Sertraline please, I have never been on it so don't know how long it takes to kick in etc. and is there any side effects from it.
