Hi
I'm under the perinatal mental health team and have been since the start of my pregnancy due to anxiety/OCD/depression which I've suffered from for around 7 years I think. I'm now 32 weeks pregnant and have not received any CBT (or other treatments). It's now looking likely that I won't get my referral for CBT until baby is born but I don't know how I'm going to practically have the sessions with a newborn, as I have no one to look after him.
This is probably a long shot, but has anyone had experience of taking a baby to their therapy session, or any advice? My specialist midwife said I might be able to take baby to appts but this just seems really impractical.
Feeling very annoyed and thinking I'll just end up back on anti depressants, without the chance to really challenge the OCD.
Thanks
