I sometimes feel I need a chat with someone impartial from time to time (MH issues with another member of the family) I just need a pep talk/advice/reassurance in my choices/another point of view etc but don't feel I can keep replying on the handful of RL people who know what we're living with. can I talk to the Samaritans?
What actually happens when you call them?

They are a listening service, so won't offer advice as such. But anyone who is in anguish and needs an ear is welcome to call them, and they will listen for as long as it takes.

I did wonder about the listening only element. Not sure if they're the service for me then. It's difficult sometimes to know who to turn to.
