I was just wondering whether anyone had any good tips for handling these types of situations. I need to see a doctor about my stomach and it's likely that they want to examine it. I still have some very old SH scars that are dark but visible and pretty distinctive.
I don't really want to be showing them to a doctor in the first place but understand it might be necessary. I really don't want to go into detail about it with GP but I'm afraid that they might mention it and I can't think of a good response. Is it likely that a doctor would even mention it? Has anyone else got any ideas on how to politely say 'drop the subject' if they do happen to make a reference to them?
