I have been told by my CBT therapist that I have low self esteem. Does anyone have any practical advice about how I can improve this?

Things that helped me build self esteem when recovering from depression were singing in a choir, learning how to ride horses and volunteering at a children's home. I think these activities helped because both singing and riding requires you to be "in the moment" and gives you a sense of achievement afterwards. It's therapeutic. Volunteering helped me feel that I was a useful member of society.
