And feeling worried about everything. My tummy is doing somersaults. Is this anxiety and what can I do to make it better? I've been depressed before but it was a short period and I got over it. Now I just feel physically sick and scared I'm not managing life very well. I'm even thinking about going off sick which I ve never done in my life. :(

Definitely anxiety I'm afraid it's awful and I totally sympathise with you it is awful. There are medications to help, so worth a trip to your GP's, there are alternative therapies, maybe download a relaxation app to your phone it may help but I think GP's is probably the first port of call, xxx

Thanks juney. I had a couple if good chats today with friends and I've decided to have therapy. I've also brought home a mindfulness cd and plan to join a local yoga group. I can't cope with meds so I plan to fight it as much as I can. I've had lots of red wine with friends and dinner tonight and feel strangely better :). I feel optimistic in my red wine stupor. I really appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Yes it sounds like it was anxiety. There is a fantastic online self help resource (free) that is good for anxiety - google 'moodjuice'. I use it with my clients (I work in young people's mental health).
