Took myself to the GP after discovering husband's EA. I had lost a load of weight and wasn't sleeping (the weight loss was the only positive thing to come out of this). Was getting up at 2 am in the morning and staying awake (got loads done!). GP diagnosed me with depression and anxiety and prescribed Citalopram (20 mg). This has made me sleep loads and have really vivid dreams. I am more tired than I ever was (OK during the day) and seems to sleep really heavily. I have also put weight back on (not so good) but GP said this was to do with feeling better and eating normally (not necessarily as a direct result of tablets). I'm just wondering about coming off as I feel as though it's just hiding some of the real issues (have been on about 10 weeks). Does anyone else feel like this and have similar symptoms?
