DH would love DD to be a Chelsea mascot when she's a bit bigger. How old is your DD?

How does one get on the list?

my dd is now 12,which is apparently their age limit/cut off for mascots. she had to join true blue junior membership club, and then apply by writing in to Kim Mall at Chelsea, including membership number. she was on list almost 5 years!!!!

it costs nothing, years ago it used to cost £350. she just has to provide the kit.

downside is that its a male parent or guardian who escorts the mascot into the changing rooms before the game to meet team.....no ladies allowed!!!! wouldn't mind catching Lampard in just his socks!!

Cheers for coming back. I'll get her name down asap. DH has just said to get DD2 on the list. She won't be born until April!

More of a JT gal myself.

Wow, no experiences, but excited for your DD even though we're an Arsenal household

i'll report back next saturday...its the chelses v stoke game. we might even be glimpsed on the tv!!

my 2 sons and dp are all arsenal fans too. dp has to come along (he's looking forward to it really!!) he has to escort her down to the changing rooms.even tho he'd much rather be meeting van persie and co.

I'm sure your DP will really enjoy it ... I just hope the experience doesn't turn him into a Chelsea fan

best bit is that our tickets are free!! part of the package,we can't afford to take the kids to many games otherwise.

used to go to watford when they did the home games "kid for a quid". all the kids love that, and we enjoyed it too. mk dons are now our nearest team, huge new stadium, but ticket prices are still out of our price range!!

doubt dp will ever get to go see arsenal play, tickets are never available, even if we could afford to go.

We haven't watched the match yet, but it's skyplussed so will look out for your dd. Glad you had a great time.
I tried to get a Junior membership for DD but the website said it was unavailable. I guess it's too late in the season so I will try again in September.

there were 2 chelsea mascots this time....they are trying to get through the lists quicker...i was playing with a little boy in the restaurant, turned out to be Cavalho's little son!! he was cute.

definitely worth persevering for. the lady in charge of mascots told me the wait list is down to 3 years now. Think Lampard took a shine to my daughter,he kept hugging her! and he took alot of time to chat,as did john terry.

Ooh that's good news.

Bless Lamps. Nice to hear she was made a fuss of!

Wow, in the end it was a good match to attend. when Stoke were 1 - nil up I guess not so good.
But for Frank Lampard to score the winner in extra time, what more could a Chelsea fan want?

Oh wow! How amazing for your DD!

DS is 7 and a mad Arsenal fan. Is a member of the junior Gunners and would LOVE to be a mascot.
