Plus size sportswear

Can anyone recommend somewhere that sells larger sized running gear? I have some size 18 Adidas shorts but they are rather small around the waist (even though I’m a 16 in ‘normal’ trousers). The sites I’ve found so far only go up to 16 or 18.

Asos do some plus size sportswear. Worth a look in TKMaxx too.

My local sports direct is a big shop, and I've seen a lot of their ladies gym stuff goes up to size 22. Don't know if this is replicated in their other stores though, but might be worth a look? Then you can try them on as well (they are really good at you taking numerous sizes into the changing room to see which is Best fit)

TKMaxx - sometimes has really good stuff

Decathlon - own range is brilliant for the price (general performance, pockets, drawstrings) and just about every item goes to XL (which is an 18, and they don't come up small IYSWIM)

Also, look at Contra (the Parkrun inclusive brand)

contra-movement.com

which goes to a size 24/26. They don't have shorts at the moment (capri and full length only, for the autumn I suppose) but worth being aware of for good quality, ethically produced in all a wide range of sizes.

Tu at Sainsbury's is good and goes to a 24

Matalan Soluxe range! Does loose fit styles up to 20, and although they're no good for support, even their XL sports bra/tops cover my 36H whoppers.
