I'm doing a triathlon?!

I'm very unfit and decided to sign myself up to give me the much needed push. Anyone else with me?

I'm swimming twice a week, riding my bike for an hour every other evening and running more like walking and panting for an hour every other evening.
Next week I'm going to attempt to run to the next town, grab my bike and cycle to the swimming pool, ride back to the next town and then run home. I'm going to die.

Go for it. It's not as hard as it sounds but you will need to do some consistent training...

Clearly you are doing some training!

You'll be fine. They're much easier than you expect them to be. Honest.

Thank you! I'm honestly quite excited, I've never done much fitness and I think this will give me the necessary push as I don't want to look like a twat!

Wow good for you. I do one every year, the same one, with a bunch of mates. None of us are very good but it's a great day and we go and eat steak after!

For some reason I signed up to the Olympic this year, I don't know what I was thinking.

Sounds like you have a good plan in place though, how's it going?

Yay! Tri is fantastic, and its such a sense of achievement. The main thing to practice is getting off the bike and running as its such a weird feeling

It's going really well! I didn't realise I could already run the 5k, I thought I was way more unfit than I am I guess. It's really forcing me to actually get out there and not just stay in my pjs!
