Running and Prolapse

Just wondered if anyone can help.... I have a prolapse which started 13 years ago after DC2, mild at this stage, got worse after DC3 now 9 but had gynae physio and got much better. Have been running for 5 years with no issues at all. About a week ago however at the end of a 5 mile run I thought I needed a poo but then realised that my prolapse has come back - cystoecyle and my uterus is pressing down on the back of my vagina. Just gutted and that awful heavy feeling down there has returned. Have made an appointment with GP but am in a terrible state - both to do with the prolapse returning but also at the thought of not being able to run. Running is my lifeline and I my whole year has been planned around running events and training. I am utterly distraught that this may have to stop as obviously my health has to come first. Does anyone else run in a similar situation? Any advice at all would be really welcome

I’ve had moderate bowel, bladder and uterus prolapses, physio’s told me never to run again, not even for the bus, no jumping, heavy lifting etc.
Urogynae consultant said run, jump carry on as normal and you can get a tampon thing that you insert for running.
I’ve had two repairs and hysterectomy, repairs failed both times.
There’s no way I would run now, it’s not worth the risk of worsening it.
Swimming and pilates are your friends.
Sorry it’s very depressing to be told / need to limit activities that make you feel good.
